What is the meaning of the word "Frowed" as shown on the video. I tried to look it up but had no luck. Thanks!

I guess it doesn't really mean anything related to Josephine herself. The instagram account that shared the video is called Copenhagen FROW, short for Copenhagen FRONT ROW, when they spot someone "famous" they call it "frowed", like "he/she was spotted by us".

i'm surprised to see that josephine is walking on her own, without the bodyguards closely behind her. maybe they keep some distance, but this seems like a lot of distance?

The summer break is over in Denmark and the Palace has released an update on all children's education - for Josephine and Vincent it says:

  • HRH Prince Vincent continues his education in the 8th grade at Tranegårdsskolen.

  • HRH Princess Josephine has chosen, at her own request, to continue her
education in the 8th grade at Spir Efterskole.

Haven't been following their educational paths, are the twins at the same school now and P.Josephine switching to a different one?

Interesting development. The twins attended the same school (Tranegårdsskolen, where Vincent will continue) since 2017; their siblings also did their primary education at that school. I assume Spir Efterskole is a boarding school as it is on Jutland and would require 3 h 15 min (one way) to get to from Amalienborg.

Isabella attended Tranegårdsskolen up until grade 8; I am not sure up until which grade Christian stayed; he started boarding in secondary school.

Edit: It's indeed a boarding school providing education for grades 8 to 10. See their website.

Spir Efterskole is a research-informed boarding school that aims to support young people in developing academically, personally and socially in a strong community – based on new knowledge about learning and well-being. Here we give the students the tools to both take responsibility for their lives and contribute to communities and society.

To get some idea of what this entails: the school has a late schedule with morning assembly at 10 am and classes starting at 10.20 am based on research that shows that teenagers' internal biological clock indicates a rhythm where they fall a sleep late and would ideally wake up later. By adjusting the school times, the school hopes to ensure that students sleep more and are therefore better able to concentrate and learn throughout the day.

An efterskole is by default a boarding school.
Judging from what I know about the efterskole system and Princess Josephne I'm not surprised that she's the sibling that has chosen to attend one.

The Danish royal children (except for Vincent) do switch school quite often it seems (a least in their teenage years). Is that common in Denmark or is that specific to the royal family?

Until a couple of generations ago the DRF children were homeschooled, so I' d say it's specific for the Regent Couple. Because Joachim's children changed school out of necessity. Perhaps Josephine simply isn't the type who thrive by sitting behind a desk? Or perhaps she simple went with her friends? But it's getting empty at home at Amalienborg. With only Vincent left og Isabella probably moving out by next summer.

It seems Josephine wants/needs a different learning environment. Glad to see Frederik and Mary, as parents, listen to their children and not try to fit all 4 into one model of learning. Over the years the kids grow and show different interests or learn better under different teaching settings.
Wishing Josephine the best in this new adventure.

That's odd. I could swear I wrote something about the school in this thread, but perhaps I simply forgot to upload?
Let's try again: Apart from normal schooling the pupils will also focus on a special line and among them are Drama and Dance as well as Design and Art. - Two subjects that seems to interest Josephine a lot.

It's normal on a continuation school that they have either the whole school focused on a particular line, like athletics or programming. Or, as in this case, that the schools have different lines, which the individual pupils sign up for.

I think you responded by accident on the Isabella thread.

Could you elaborate?

A few details about the continuation school Josephine has moved to.
She must so much be a B person!
They er woken up at 08.45.
Then follow cleaning/tidying up, morning-exercise and breakfast, before assembly at 10.00. - Then the school day begins. - In most schools in DK school, certainly at the older grades, starts at 08.00.
The pupils live in rooms of 2-6 people.

Today is continuation school day, where people can visit continuation schools to have a look around, talk with the pupils and see if it might be something for them and their children.
And Josephine's continuation school was also visited today, by hundreds of people!
In fact three times as many people came visiting as in normal years.
But Josephine was not among the pupils who answered questions, nor is it known whether she is/was even at the school today.

Josephine attended the premiere of the musical "Alice in Wonderland" at the Tivoli this afternoon, October 4:

Its great seeing her support her friends.
She says "-I've been really looking forward to seeing it - it's also fun that I know so many people here"

A girl who likes Theatre and Soccer, go Josephine
