I thought Harriet Sperling was an NHS nurse. I'm intrigued by how she gets so much time off work to go to all these events with Peter!

If she is a nurse it actually makes more sense as it means she won't work Mon-Fri 9 to 5 but would work shifts which could include weekend work giving her time off in the week to attend weekday events.
OR
she might not work full time
OR
she might not work at all any more

Back to William -

He is confirmed to be attending the Eng v Spain final match in Germany on Sunday.

I wonder if he will also attend the State Opening of Parliament, I can't remember if he did attend last time it was just C&C or if William went as well - edit - just checked and W didn't attend as he was at Earthshot in Singapore.

There seems to be conflicting reports on Prince William attending his Earthshot summit in NYC. This being a project near and dear to his heart I would think that he would be there.

He doesn’t go every year. He was last year but not in 2022. It’s when the nominees are announced.

Thanks Ghost. I just thought he missed the summit in 2022 because of the Queen’s death but thought maybe this year he would attend.

Without doubt his participation, if scheduled (I honestly don’t remember) would have been cancelled.
This year proves to be complicated in a different way.

LE You were right, he was scheduled to go.

The beard makes him looks distinguished and mature; hope he keeps it for other events!
Apparently, Kensington Palace declined to comment on whether or not the beard is permanent. As we all know, the press is really known for their quality investigative reporting 🤣. I can’t say that I’m not appreciative since I’d like him to keep it as well. 😝

I can't stand the beard. Shave it off!!

Hmm ... if you Google "Prince William", "Prince William beard" is the 4th suggestion which comes up, so the beard appears to be trending!

William is to visit Llanelli (pronounced Khlanethli, for people not familiar with Welsh :) ) next week.

Apparently 80 to 85% of voters in different polls I’ve seen enjoy the beard. Instagram, so v v scientific. 😂😂😂
(I’ve never not liked a freshly shaven tender cheek.)

Prince William looks like Jason Statham, the action movie star, with this beard and the short hair.

Gotta weigh in on this most important discussion. I have wanted for years for William to grow a beard thinking it would give him Jason Statham rugged handsomeness. However, this look does not appeal to me, I am not sure but I think that being blonde that there is a washout effect. I am thinking that a fuller beard would work better, not too full but akin to his 2008 beard, and hopefully what we are seeing now is a transition.

I’ve always liked the way he looked with a beard, so I hope he keeps it.

More on the Prince of Wales' visit to RAF College in Cranwell. Prince William also trained at this base.

The Prince of Wales has told new RAF officers the country will be relying on them to deal with “future threats” during the present “time of change and uncertainty”.

William spoke during the graduation ceremony of more than 50 officers who have completed their training at the Royal Air Force College Cranwell.

The prince knows RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire well, as he trained at the air force base, flying solo for the first time and later received his wings from his father during a ceremony at Cranwell in 2008.

Prince William's aunt and long time Lincolnshire resident Lady Sarah McCorquodale was also at the event today.

Today, October 3, the Prince of Wales paid a visit to Birtley Community Pool in Tyne and Wear "to celebrate its reopening and highlight the importance of access to swimming":
