Prince Laurent, Princess Claire & Family - News & Events, Part 7; Aug 2023 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
2025 should keep the Belgian royals interesting and in the media. Laurent is still demanding social security and threatening to leave Belgium if he doesn't get his way...

Apparently the photo was made by Claire's brother Matt(hew) Coombs.

According to the caption, it's Laurent's other brother-in-law who took the picture, Steve (Grant, husband of Claire's sister Joanna). Claire's brother Matthew is thanked for "Tomy" (the little dog's name, I imagine).

It's a good idea and nice picture! Happy New Year to Laurent, Claire and their children

Today, January 2, H.R.H Prince Laurent visited the editorial office of “Moniteur Automobile”.

In the interview to the magazine, Laurent spoke about his favourite cars throughout the years, from a Fiat 127 Sport when he was 18 to the Pininfarina Spidereuropa ("the most beautiful car that has ever been made"). He enjoys driving and he describes himself as an experienced and good driver (despite his many fines for speeding in the past).
He says that his father King Albert is "obsessed by cars, as well as a a motorcycle enthusiast: if he could, he'd probably go to sleep with his vehicles":
Prins Laurent: “Mijn vader zou nog met zijn auto’s en motoren gaan slapen”

Laurent's son, Prince Aymeric, certainly seems to share the same passion as well, judging from his Instagram posts and stories

Thank you for sharing the interview, Linda. As I read it I was thinking exactly the same: Aymeric is the one who inherited the passion for vehicles.

It's a shame the family doesn't take advantage of being the host country to one of the most mythical Formula 1 Grand Prix and doesn't really seem to care about it, the Grimaldis and the Oranje are present at their GPs. The Coburgs should pay more attention to Spa-Francorchamps.
(Sorry, the F1 fan just jumped out, lol)

Considering the prince is half-Italian I understand he is going for a FIAT. King Albert II has always been very interested in cars indeed and he often visited the autosalon in the Brussels Expo, even as Prince de Liège.

On February 5 Princess Claire has visited the association "Live in color" that has won the Queen Paola Prize in 2024 for its project "Sponsorship for young refugees":
