Prince Joachim as Patron of the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix together with Princess Marie, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena attended the Grand Prix today, August 4:

Thanks, Iceflower.

And a delightful video of Athena touching the gas pedal of a Lamborghini.

With a delightful gallery as well. Notice our Marie's reaction in the background.

Soon, Joachim, soon you'll hear your daughter say: Look dad, car go vrooom!!

I believe Marie is around 163 cm, no more than that. Her twelve year old daughter has almost caught up.

Prince Joachim participated as patron in a working meeting with the national chairman of the Danish Veterans.

Princess Marie will come to Denmark for the Cooking Festival . Prince Joachim did not come for the Grand Prix this year.

It looks like he did with Henrik, but in a private capacity and not as patron

This evening, August 25, Prince Joachim as Patron attended the Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps’ gala dinner and the presentation of the Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassadors Award at Copenhagen City Hall:

Upon leaving the Copenhagen Townhall after the Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps, where the former (Obama) ambassador to DK, Rufus, got a well-deserved award, Prince Joachim was asked how it was to be back in DK:
Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps
He answered: The social aspect, meeting with friends. Being here, when the weather is good. And working. He has a full schedule. - Which doesn't surprise me. I'm sure he has lots of meetings both with the military, the politicians and the Danish defense industry. Because a large part of his work as a attache is to listen. - And what he hears is of course of great interest.

His kids' school starts up again this week, so if they're staying in Washington (and in the same schools), the family is probably headed back already.

Yesterday, January 8, Prince Joachim as Patron of the Main Organization for Reserve Personnel in Denmark attended the "inauguration of two salons as a place of remembrance for the history of the reserve officer at the Army Officers' School" at Frederiksberg Palace:

On Thursday, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim participated in the inauguration of two salons as a place of remembrance for the history of the reserve officer at the Army Officers' School. The new place of remembrance at Frederiksberg Palace focuses on the education, history and importance of the reserve officer for the Army.
The new place of remembrance is set up in two former royal apartments and conveys the work of the reserve officer through the ages through both physical and virtual elements, selected artifacts and new furniture.

The Army Officers' School has been housed at Frederiksberg Palace for more than 150 years and has educated the Army's line officers through generations with an emphasis on tradition, professional development and corps spirit.

The inauguration has created a lasting place for communication, reflection and connection, for today's officers as well as for the palace's many visitors.
Prince Joachim participated in his capacity as patron of the Main Organization for Personnel of the Reserve in Denmark.
