This is just as good a school as any. Benefit of this kind of military institution is that it combines the physical requirements and the military formation with a normal academic bachelor. A tough study to choose, but you end up with several benefits.

It could also make sense as a prep year for the RMA in Brussels. Gabriel took en extra year of maths & sciences in Britain after highschool to prepare.

Prince Emmanuel never went to his Sisters and Brother Schools. He will never go into the Royal Military Academy. He will be fine at the NCO Schools. He shows to our Country that RMA is not for everybody, and that his Choice is what he wants.

This has nothing to do with the Prince , but a lot of Belgians are going into our RMA for its Uniform. Wearing it at ther Wedding day , is top class ........

Nonsense. He went to Sint-Jan Berchmans (like all his siblings) and now he's at the International School of Brussels, like Eléonore and Gabriel.

Prince Emmanuel went from 2012 to 2020 to a Dutch special scholarised School called Eureka at Kessel Loo.

And that is just fine. A country needs people with a vocational and proffessional education. The country would be at a standstill if everyone only got a university degree/job.
So, well done for Emmanuel for choosing a line of education that suits him.

I fully agree. It's much better to pick the right school for you than to try to meet outside expectations. However, the claim that was made was that he was going to a school that would also lead to an academic bachelor - which isn't true.

I believe the school is located very close to the beautiful Forêt de Soignes (Sonian forest?) on the opposite end of Brussels vs. Laeken. The Dukes of Brabant and later of Burgundy and the Habsburgs would use the forest for hunting.

Congratulations to the prince and good luck to his (under officer) studies the next year.

It is Prince Emmanuel who will follow next year as wrote Marengo his (under officiers) studies.
Prince Gabriel is in its second year at the ERM (Ecole Royale Militaire) where he follows an university and military training.

It's indeed different than what was suggested, I imagined he would be with his cousins Nicolas and Aymeric in Saffraanberg, but it's not the case.
The announcement certainly sounds very vague (not even mentioning the country Emmanuel is moving to..)

I wonder why this press release isn't on their own website. And yes, it is very vague 'language & sports' at an undisclosed 'academy' in an undisclosed country. Imho, at first 'sight', it doesn't sound like a very rigorous program but more like a 'pretstudie' (fun study - one that is relatively easy that you mainly do because it seems fun and not necessarily because of the professional perspectives it brings) as they would call it in Dutch. Nonetheless, I hope it will turn out to be a good fit and will prepare him for a life that is not centered around royal events but does allow him to work in an uncontroversial area in a role that can be combined with the occasional royal event and his status as prince/member of the royal family.

Edit: Trying to identify any potential program that combines Sports and Languages but haven't found one yet. It could be some kind of 'combined' degree in which the student creates his own program by combining two different areas of study into a tailor-made degree.

Not necessarily. It might suggest it is a liberal arts institution (I found a few Liberal Arts degrees focusing on Sports). However, maybe our native Flemish speakers can help us out? In the Netherlands, the word is hardly ever used for tertiary education institutions but it seems it is a bit more common in Belgium.
