Prince Ferdinand-Maximilian zu Ysenburg und Büdingen (*1969) married Sophie De Bois (*1970) on August 30th 2003, in the little village of Pessoux, near Château de Jannée (Belgium).
Ferdinand-Maximilian is the youngest son of Prince Wolfgang-Ernst zu Ysenburg und Büdingen and of Princess Leonille zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. Sophie is a daughter of Monsieur Francis De Bois and of his former wife, Diane de Trixhe de Jannée.
Hereditary Prince Casimir zu Ysenburg und Büdingen (brother of the groom) and Prince Constantin von Croÿ were the witnesses. As anecdote, groom and witnesses wore all red socks.
After the wedding, bride and groom drove in a cabriolet to Château de Jannée (the castle of the maternal family of the bride), where a reception was offered to their 333 guests.
