Eugenia, Princess of Hanover, has been photographed and interviewed for the Spanish edition of Vanity Fair.

The interview was mainly about herself and fashion but when being asked about her uncle Ernst August she said: "The paparazzi are always looking for headlines, but my uncle Ernst of Hanover leads a very normal, quiet life in Madrid".

I just saw the above in Point de Vue related to Ernst August of Hanover and his health. I was not aware of him now living in Spain. Does he keeps in touch with his children? That photo is so sad to see

He is in touch with his son Christian, daughter in law Alessandra and the couple's 3 children.
 
Ernest is, once again, hospitalized at the Ruber International Hospital in Madrid for reasons still unknown.
The prince is supported by his current partner, Claudia Stilianopoulos, his son Christian, and his daughter-in-law, Sassa de Osma.

I wonder how serious his condition is. Alexandra uploaded a story in her IG in which it can be seen clearly that she's in Madrid with Christian (and Ben).
 
As she also shared photos of enjoying her day in Madrid, I can hardly imagine it's serious today.
 
She also posted a story with a ball gown. So she might go to the opera or a black tie event. Im any case she doesn't seem like someone visiting a father in serious condition
 
Ernst August's niece (and younger EA, Christian and Alexandra's cousin) princess Eugenia von Hanover was interviewed by Tatler. She is both a model and studying to become a doctor.

Two weeks ago Ernst August was spotted at a luxury wellness resort on Kho Samui island in Thailand. Hopefully he can recover from his recent health problems.

He seems In very bad condition like if he was 90 years old. Such a pity.
Interesting that he attended the funeral. I didn't know they were acquainted. EA does not really attend events, for sure nor royal ones. Maybe they were friends.
 
Especially because he did not attend his cousin Irene's funeral earlier this week.

Correct. He never attends anything. Strange. Anyway, it means that he feels he had to and he was ok enough to attend.
Furthermore.. I'm sure he could afford a suit well fit to his actual size.

Having a microphone shoved into your face when you make it clear you do not want to speak is an invasion of privacy and would make anyone angry. But because it is EA he gets blamed for being aggressive and the journalist receives no comment for their unprofessional and intrusive behaviour.

Agree. Furthermore since almost 30 years (when he started with Caroline and started being chased) he was always agressive and verbally or even physically violent towards them. Journalists / paparazzi are what they are , intrusive and non respectful, (this is their job) not all of them ofcourse. By this behavior he just plays their game. They perfectly know that EA will get angry and insult them, this is why they approach him, to have their short "scoop". If he just ignored them, smiled and closed his mouth, they would get tired and let him down.

He hasnt learned to play the game in 30 years. Paparazzi or not, he has serious anger issues, especially when under influence of alcohol (not sure if the case here). He is equally agressive (physically as well) against men or women. Of course the intrusive way of the paps is not nice, but he should have learned to control himself better. At some point I thought he would physically attack the lady, what is not right and he has already done in the past, many times. Intrusiveness doesnt excuse violence.

I had also the same impression. I think that in one moment she was afraid he would break her microphone.
Yes he is unable to control his anger (alcohol or not) and i believe in many occasions not only against Papzs.
It is such a pity, à guy from such a high royal level, rich and with nice family to end this way. Alcoholic and maybe one day in asylum or prison.
