Daniel is today and tomorrow at Prince Daniel's Fellowship's regional entrepreneurial trip to Skellefteå and Luleå.

Daniel visited today Luleå University of Technology in Luleå with Prince Daniel's Fellowship's entrepreneurial programme. With him he had entrepreneurs Erik Fjellborg/Quinix, Peg Söderberg/Moving Floor and David Kristensson/Northern Offshore Group. They gave an inspirational lecture and after that held round table discussion with students.

After the visit Daniel continued Prince Daniel's Fellowship's regional entrepreneurial trip to Boden. They have visited Boden Business Park and Stegra H2 Green Steel.

Royal visit! Today we had the great honor of welcoming H.R.H. Prince Daniel and his delegation from the Prince Daniel Fellowship to Boden!
Deputy Mayor Claes Nordmark and CEO of Boden Business Park, Thomas Fägerman, received the group and told about our work with the social transformation. Later, the prince and the delegation visited Stegra, where Cecilia Kvibacke, development manager for Boden Industrial Park, presented our exciting future investments.
The visit was part of an entrepreneurial journey through Norrbotten and Västerbotten, where the delegation from Prince Daniel's Fellowship has the opportunity to discover our regional market and make valuable contacts for new ideas and business opportunities.


The Royal House about Daniel's days on Prince Daniel's Fellowship's regional entrepreneurial trip, with entrepreneurs and business leaders from the Prince Daniel Fellowship network and The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences' business council.
The purpose of the trip to Västerbotten and Norrbotten was to visit companies and innovative environments that reflect the large industrial investments taking place in Sweden.
September 18: Skellefteå and Luleå
The trip began in Skellefteå where the delegation visited the Green Flight Academy, Boliden Rönnskär and Northvolt.
Then a regional Entrepreneurial Day took place in Kulturens hus in Luleå.
The day ended with a dinner in Luleå with entrepreneurs from Västerbotten and Norrbotten.
September 19: Boden and Pajala
The second day began with Daniel and inspirers from the Fellowship visiting Luleå University of Technology and talking to students about entrepreneurship.
The delegation then traveled to Boden and visited Stegra (formerly H2 Green Steel).
The regional entrepreneurial trip ended with a visit to Kaunis Iron in Pajala.

Daniel attended today the board meeting of Ung Företagsamhet (Junior Achievement Sweden) in Näringslivets Hus.
 
Daniel met today at the Royal Palace Pontus Braunerhjelm, research director at the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum.

Daniel attended today a meeting of the Steering Group of the Prince Daniel's Fellowship at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Daniel attends the Association for Swedish Handicraft's 125th anniversary celebration at Prince Eugen's Waldemarsudde.

The Royal Court:
In 1899, Prince Eugen and Lilli Zickerman founded the Association for Swedish Handicraft. It's the country's oldest handicrafts association and is a meeting place for craftsmen, designers, artisans and artists.
Daniel delivered a scholarship for professional craftsmen to textile artist Britta Marakatt-Labba. The SEK 100,000 scholarship was awarded for the first time after the association received a donation that enabled the establishment of a scholarship for professional craftspeople or people who protect the professional craft.

The Royal Court tells about the Entrepreneurial Trip
October 10
The trip began with a presentation by Pascal Cagni, chairman of the board of iBusiness France and French ambassador for international investments. Then they visited Station F, one of the world's largest campuses for start-ups. Next a visit to the innovation department of the design group LVHM. The delegation visited also CorWave, a specialist medical technology company in the manufacture of heart pumps.
Ambassador Håkan Åkesson hosted a dinner in the Swedish residence.
October 11
The day began with a visit to the Petit Palais museum, where an exhibition by Bruno Liljefors is currently on display. The delegation also listened to a conversation about AI. Next, the space company Exotrail was visited. The trip ended with a visit to the public investment bank Bpifrance, where they to a panel discussion on European competitiveness in innovation.

Daniel visited yeterday Green14, which is an innovative project at the Royal Institute of Technology KTH. Minister for Climate and the Environment Romina Pourmokhtari also participated in the visit.
Green14 works to make production in the silicon industry more environmentally friendly and more cost-effective. Daniel received a presentation of Swedish research in materials science as well as information on the EU's list of critical raw materials.

The Royal Court about Daniel delivering The Heart-Lung Foundation's Prince Daniel's Research Grant
Prince Daniel has awarded the grant, which goes to young promising researchers, since 2013. At this year's award, all previous prize winners gathered for a joint seminar, during which the visiting researchers presented their results and reported on the research development since they themselves were awarded the grant.

Daniel participated today in a seminar on entrepreneurship and innovation together with Prince Daniel's Fellowship's network and the Business Council of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
IT entrepreneur Niklas Zennström spoke about the start-up and financing landscape of the last ten years, and he also gave an insight into the coming decade.

Daniel had today a meeting at Haga Palace with Chairman Jörgen Bergqvist and General Secretary Thomas Kanestad from En Frisk Generation. He is the initiator and patron of En Frisk Generation, which is a non-profit organisation aiming to inspire families with low socioeconomic status to a more active and healthy lifestyle.

Incredibly interesting talk and fun morning!
It was nice to meet Prince Daniel again. I have done some work with the Prince Daniel's Fellowship, which deals with mentoring and inspiring young people to start businesses. Prince Daniel, myself and Martin Lorentzon (Spotify) visited schools together to cheer on students! Being able to inspire others to run a business is a matter of my heart.
 
Daniel has visited Insjön, Falun and Ludvika with Prince Daniel's Fellowship yesterday and today.

Yesterday Daniel visited Campus Borlänge to participate in an entrepreneurship conversation together with students and entrepreneurs from Dalarna. The event brought together entrepreneurs, students and other stakeholders to exchange experiences, share ideas and create new contacts.
Daniel together with prominent entrepreneurs Kira Unger, founder and CEO of the legal AI company Pocketlaw, and Jonas Tellander, founder of Storytel, participated in an engaging panel discussion on entrepreneurship and innovation.
The conversation focused on important themes such as what drives entrepreneurs forward, how to identify and seize opportunities, and how to deal with challenges along the way. The panelists shared personal experiences and concrete examples that gave an insight into the reality of entrepreneurship – from passion and perseverance to strategic thinking.

On November 28-29, the Prince Daniel's Fellowship and the Academy's Business Council had a delegation trip to Dalarna with the aim of strengthening the synergies between the networks and providing a unique opportunity for learning and exchange in dialogue with current entrepreneurs and business leaders.
The delegation visited exciting companies and innovative environments in order to build networks and to learn more about entrepreneurship and innovation within the region. Special focus was on community development and entrepreneurship with visits to companies Clas Ohlson, Hitachi Energy, EcoDataCenter and Dalapop, also the Bergslag salons in Falun were visited. A regional entrepreneur conference was also organized at Dalarna University to inspire, build networks and discuss issues surrounding cooperation between the public sector, business and academia.

Great to have photos from the Academy, it's a pity that the photo agencies don't follow Daniel on these trips very much.

The Royal Court about Daniel's visit to Dalarna on November 28-29:
 
Daniel delivered today at the Grand Hôtel the Golden Gavel awards (Guldklubban) to Marcus Wallenberg, SAAB, in the class for stock exchange listed companies and Lena Olving, Nodica Group, in the class for non-listed companies.
The Golden Gavel for outstanding performance in the role of chair of a company board is awarded in two categories each year, one for stock exchange listed companies and one for non-listed companies.

Marcus Wallenberg is the royal family's friend, Chair of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and member of the Steering of The Prince Daniel's Fellowship and its entrepreneurial programme.

In the evening Daniel attends the 25th Gazelle Gala at the Stockholm City Hall. He was welcomed by Peter Fellman, editor-in-chief of Di (Dagens Industri).
Di Gasell wants to pay tribute to talented entrepreneurs and highlight the good and inspiring examples. They award the Super Gazelle of the Year to the company that has grown the fastest of all Gazelle companies in Sweden every year. They award also honorary prizes in three award categories - Impact Gazelle of the Year, Female Gazelle of the Year and International Gazelle of the Year.
