Prince Daniel is in Paris!
At the Swedish Institute (@institutsuedois) in the Marais district, he opened the exhibition "The Relief" by artist Tarik Kiswanson (@tarikkiswanson), of Palestinian, Swedish, and French descent, who has lived in Paris since 2010. A sculptor, he worked on a piano used during World War II to accompany American soldiers on the front lines. For the occasion, the Swedish community of Paris gathered in the institute's courtyard on the evening of October 22nd.

The Swedish Institute Paris presents: Tarik Kiswanson — The Relief
On October 22, the exhibition The Relief by the award-winning artist and poet Tarik Kiswanson will be inaugurated at the Swedish Institute Paris. The inauguration will be held by Prince Daniel in the presence of the artist, at the same time as Art Basel Paris is taking place in the city.
The exhibition consists of installations, sculptures and video works and is curated by the director of the Swedish Institute Paris, Sara Arrhenius.

Kiswanson comes from a Palestinian family that were exiled from Jerusalem, to Tripoli and later Amman, before finally settling in Halmstad, Sweden, where he was born.

Through sculptures and videos, Tarik Kiswanson explores themes of memory, trauma, and regeneration. How do the dark moments of our collective history inform the present? What can they teach us about the human condition? How do we endure trauma, and how do we possibly rebuild? These questions are central to the practice of Tarik Kiswanson, who was awarded the Prix Marcel Duchamp in 2023. Two pieces were made specially for the show and all the artworks are being presented in France for the first time.

A post in LinkedIn:
Roundtable discussion with Prince Daniel's Fellowship with KTH Innovation, students and business figures inspired a whole hall of curious enthusiasts today!
Entrepreneurial conversation with Caroline Walerud and Alan Mamedi moderated by HRH Prince Daniel dum up;
Choosing who to take with you on your entrepreneurial journey is one of the most important decisions you make. Finding the right co-founder can sometimes be likened to dating – the chemistry and values have to be right, and even if there are risks, you can't get stuck in worst-case scenario thinking. It's often more important to get started than to have the perfect idea from the start...

The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences published a lot of photos from Prince Daniel's Fellowship's and IVA's Business Council Delegation Trip to Stockholm on 26-27 November:
The delegation tip is a joint arrangement between Prince Daniel's Fellowship and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences' (IVA's) Business Council. Aftonbladet interviewed Daniel right after he had arrived to DreamHack:
Daniel said that the event is incredibly big and impressive. Sometimes he plays a little Playstation with the kids, Fifa is fun and since he is a golfer, Tiger Woods is good too. And Daniel said that he's not good at playing, he's pretty bad. To be honest, he is not that keen on it, he'd rather go for a walk in nature. But he is glad it exists and that it's a meeting place. Often you sit at home and play and DreamHack creates conditions for people from all over the world to meet physically.

The Royal House about Prince Daniel's Fellowship's and IVA's Business Council Delegation Trip to Stockholm:

Svensk Damtidning met Daniel at Karolinska University Hospital, great to hear that Daniel is doing so well!
There is also TV4's Anders Pihlblad, a couple of photographers, 24-year-old Marcus Söderholm with mother Therese, 53, and Daniel's doctor, chief physician Lars Wennberg, the first chief physician at the court.
A powerful meeting, Daniel and Marcus share the same life-changing experience: They have both received a kidney from a living donor. Marcus just over six months ago, by his mother.
Daniel says: "It becomes a strong bond. My father and I often talk about it. Because he basically saved my life. I knew that I was born with impaired kidney function, I got that news when I was 15-16 years old. At the time it felt like “I will never get sick, I am so strong and healthy”. But then it crept up over time, without me really noticing anything until it was too late." (..)

TV4's Anders Pihlblad interviewed Daniel at his visit to the transplantation clinic at Karolinska University Hospital, the very good interview was shown at TV4's News morning yesterday.
Marcus Söderholm said it is very inspiring to meet Daniel and to see that he is doing so well still after so many, 16,5 years. Daniel praised his father a lot. Daniel is feeling very well, lives a very active life and hasn't a single setback in these years. No worries whatsoever. He trains and works hard and get stressed out sometimes, maybe he should take it a little easier.

Daniel is today and tomorrow on the Prince Daniel's Fellowship's and The Royal Swedish Engineering Academy's IVA's Business Council Delegation Trip in Västernorrland (Sundsvall, Härnösand and Örnsköldsvik).
During the visit to Sundsvall, Daniel talked with entrepreneurs Hedda Båverud Olsson (Lassie) and Lukas Saari (Tandem Health), together they shared their journeys – from idea to success. This event brought together students, entrepreneurs, innovators and business builders to exchange experiences, create new contacts and discuss the future of entrepreneurship.

To the tune of the Rocky song “Gonna fly now,” Prince Daniel stepped into Grönborg in Sundsvall – a city he has a special relationship with.
– I had a close childhood friend who lived here, says the prince.

Daniel was interviewed by Radio Sweden in Sundsvall:
Students, entrepreneurs and innovators gathered at Mid Sweden University to discuss entrepreneurship and the importance of mentorship for young entrepreneurs.
The Prince, who would later continue his journey to Härnösand and Örnsköldsvik, is keen to highlight the important role of Norrland in Sweden's history of innovation.

The delegation visited NorthX Biologics:
The company welcomed Prince Daniel, together with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, to the premises for a 90-minute journey with the theme “From Idea to Impact”.
– The visit was structured as a story where they got to follow the entire chain: from the first idea and research, via production and preparedness, to future cell therapies and, ultimately, the human being and patient benefit. The approach was like a kind of “treasure hunt” with several stops along the way, where each part showed how collaboration between academia, industry and society is required for ideas to actually become available treatments that make a difference, says Luisa Lundin, Alliance Manager at NorthX Biologics.

On the Delegation Trip's second day Daniel and the group visited, among others, Konsthallen in Härnösand. Some art again for Daniel!

Hopefully the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences publishes a lot of photos of the trip.

And SCA Östrand's pulp mill in Timrå, one of the county's largest industrial groups and Europe's largest private forest owner. The trip then continued to Matfors and NorthX Biologics, which develops and produces advanced biological therapies and vaccines. They got a guided tour of Härnösand's art gallery and the day ended with a dinner at the residence hosted by County Governor Carin Jämtin.
On Tuesday, the delegation visited Permobil in Sundsvall, where they learned about the development of next-generation mobility solutions. The program then continued to BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik, where they saw the production of the company's tracked vehicles. The trip concluded with a visit to the chemical company Sekab in Domsjö.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences published a gallery from the visit:

About Permobil:
Countess Marianne Bernadotte Dr. Per Uddén launch the highly advanced electric wheelchair, Permobil, which he had developed. Marianne Bernadotte's efforts for Permobil have been deemed by Per Uddén to be so crucial that without her this advanced invention would not have been able to receive the support and backing among industrialists and politicians that was necessary for it to be developed and manufactured.
