If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
It sounds as if she has been very ill for a while. Very moving comments by Naomi.

Charles-Philippe and Naomi have shared their Christmas card:

Will the Comte de Paris receive their wishes ?

Charles-Philippe and Naomi attended the Rainforest Charity Gala in Monaco on May 17 (no member of the Princely Family of Monaco did attend):

And this past weekend they attended a family wedding in France:

Charles-Philippe and Naomi attended the Grand Prix De La Haute Joaillerie in Monaco this evening, October 25:

I don't know if they were not invited
The couple was present at the wedding of the eldest son of princess Clothilde, Louis Nicolas Crépy d'Orléans and they were also present at the christening of prince Nicolas d'Orléans, son of his younger brother prince Francois

Nicolas Crepy is member of the Order of Saint Lazare , Charles Philippe was its Grand Master but had to resign . Because of his divorce , the actual grand Master is the Count of Dreux his Brother

It was announced that Prince Charles Philippe d’Orléans is the vice-president of the Latin American branch of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, which was inaugurated on November 7, 2025, in São Paulo, in the presence of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Interesting. Will the child bear the title of Prince/Princess automatically, or is that at the discretion of the Count of Paris?

Good question. I’m not sure. No doubt the child’s parents will call them by full HRH Prince/ss titles. But will the French government and/or the Count of Paris agree?

The French government has not always followed the Orléans royal family’s wishes in according royal titles. Since 1986, the French state has accorded HRH Prince/ss titles to the Legitimist pretenders to France (Alfonso of Bourbon, Duke of Cádiz, and his descendants) – they are eligible for French titles as they are French citizens through the Duke’s French mother.

Naturally, the Count of Paris and prior Orléans pretenders did not recognize the Legitimist pretenders, or the Bonaparte pretenders, as legitimate French dynasts. Nonetheless, the French state treats all three families as French royalty by according them HRHs/HIHs in their legal documents.

Another issue might be legitimacy, if the mature couple used for example a donated egg to have their child. While the legitimate/illegitimate distinction is no longer recognized by the French civil code, the French government apparently continues to deny noble titles to illegitimate children (a news report was posted earlier on this forum about an out-of-wedlock son of a French nobleman who could not inherit his father’s noble title in his legal name, due to his illegitimacy).

As for the Count of Paris’s own views: His official announcement when the couple married implies, I think, that the marriage is dynastically invalid, since it specifically refers to it as a “civil remarriage” (suggesting that it is only valid under the civil law of the French state and not under the family’s house laws).

However, the announcement also acknowledged Naomi’s right to the Orléans surname “which the civil law accords to her”. (Under French law, spouses do not legally change their surnames, but enjoy the right to use one another’s surnames.)

So if the civil law of France accords the HRH Prince/Princess title to the couple’s child, then my guess is the Count of Paris would acknowledge that as well.

The couple released their Christmas card on social media, the photo was already published in November:

We send you our warmest wishes for a Merry and Holy Christmas. May the light of the manger, a source of hope, illuminate your days and renew your strength. We also wish you a beautiful and happy 2026, marked by peace, fidelity to France's Christian roots, and the profound joy that comes from God's love.

Charles-Philippe and Naomi now shared a new photo of themselves and a similar Christmas message:

We wish you all, from the bottom of our hearts, a very Merry Christmas, surrounded by your loved ones. May the light of the manger, a source of hope, illuminate your days and renew your strength. 🕊️

The couple attended the awards show of the Monaco International Circus Festival yesterday, January 20, see our extra thread.

As Co-Presidents of the Hugues Capet Literary Prize Charles-Philippe and Naomi presented the prize to Joël Cornette in Paris on February 3:

This should remain private towards the Duchess of Cadaval.

And I think it's good that they have such a good contact.
