A summary of (some) Andrew-related content from the US Department of Justice's newly released Jeffrey Epstein-related files:
"Here’s what the latest documents claim about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor:
The former Prince Andrew engaged in sexual conduct with a victim of the paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, according to a US Department of Justice document released in the latest tranche of the so-called Epstein files.
Thousands of new files relating to convicted paedophile have been released by the US DOJ, including a request from the authorities to interview Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in April 2020.
It also asked UK authorities to conduct a “compelled interview” with him under oath if he refused to agree voluntarily.
The request was in relation to two criminal investigations, one involving Epstein and the other on Peter Nygard, a former fashion mogul who was sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2024 for sexual assault.
The letter claimed Mountbatten-Windsor “may have been a witness to and/or participant in certain events of relevance” relating to the investigation into Epstein.
The justice department wished to learn of any visits Mountbatten-Windsor had made to properties owned by Epstein, particularly the lengths of such visits and any other individuals who attended.
It asked for information on whether any females under the age of 18 were present at such visits, and if Mountbatten-Windsor had engaged in any sexual contact with such individuals.
Furthermore, the authorities asked for any copies of communication from Maxwell or Epstein on females they had arranged Mountbatten-Windsor to meet, including evidence of sexual encounters and their identifying features, as well as records of any payments Mountbatten-Windsor had made to the two.
The justice department said it wished to interview Mountbatten-Windsor on the history and nature of his relationship with Epstein, Maxwell and a redacted name within the bundle.
It also sought to learn of any payments made to or received by Mountbatten-Windsor to Epstein and Maxwell, and details of any conversations relating to the pair’s sexual preferences."
