Mull (and where they visit today Iona) are beautiful to visit as are all the Scottish isles - especially with the heatwave and sunny weather the UK is experiencing. Stories have emerged that the couple visited Mull just before their graduation with a group of friends and got involved with the local community - they didn't hide away but out of respect for privacy the islanders never told the press until this new visit.

Day 2 has started:

Some interesting bits were reported from day 1 of the trip - that the prince and princess said.
Discussion on her beekeeping and wanting lots of advice from a stall holder on keeping bees and details that Kate bought 2 pictures of Mull on their uni trip that are in the bedroom at their Norfolk home. The one that made a few headlines was of course Kate getting a chainsaw for Christmas

You can watch her talk to the beekeeper in yesterday's video on the Royal Family Channel's YouTube. You could tell it's something she's really interested and knowledgeable about and that she would've stayed there for a lot longer to continue the discussion if she'd been able to.

Anyway, their visit has certainly piqued my interest in visiting that part of Scotland. The scenery is gorgeous and I really want to visit the market and stalls they were at. There was also a soap store they visited briefly that I'm dying to check out.
