The godparents of princess Luisa are:

- Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Parma
- Princess Irene of The Netherlands
- Ank Gualthérie van Weezel (mother of Annemarie)
- Constance Gualthérie van Weezel (sister Annemarie)
- Princess Maria Therèse of Bourbon-Parma
- Countess Franca Zanardi Landi di Veano

Royalblog reports that they wanted to keep it all a small family affair. Three reporters were allowed in the church, but they were absolutely not allowed to make pictures. A security guard was sitting next to them and he had to make sure that nobody would make a picture ..... however the security guard himself made a picture with his cell phone when Luisa was baptised.

They also spoke with the press for a short while:

The press is referring to the princess as 'Luisa Irene' and not just 'Luisa'. The Duchess of Parma commented that they chose the name Luisa Irene for the meaning: warrior for peace.

Again the only Bourbon-Parma relative present is Princess Marie Therese, as was the case during the wedding of princess Carolina in June.
