Pope Leo XIV's Current Events Thread

Pope Leo met yesterday Sebastian Tynkkynen, a Finnish member of the European Parliament. Tynkkynen tells about the meeting among other things:
A Swiss Guard came to welcome us and took our group to the Sala Clementina room. The large doors opened and the Pope entered the room at exactly 9:00 in the morning. A deep silence fell in the room and the Pope walked to his seat. (...)
After the Pope’s greeting, we each had a short conversation with him alone. I didn’t expect this, but I thought the Pope would only take a few questions from our entire delegation. I can admit that I was a little nervous. I will never forget that moment. And I still wonder how this was possible. And also that the Pope spent a whole hour with us.
 
Pope Leo mentioned the suffering of the Palestinian people of Gaza in his first Christmas message to the world.

The Pope presided over this weeks General Audience at the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican.
 
Pope Leo XIV offered his condolences to the victims following the Spanish train crash via telegram and it was later read out at Mass.
