Ok, I was thinking more in general about the last Jubilee year, even if it wasn't an ordinary Jubilee. Here in Rome we called it the 2015 Jubilee and for me it was a full-fledged Jubilee, maybe oversimplifying

”With distinction” is a rare honour… Trump did not give it to anyone during his 1st administration… Obama only gave it to Biden… Bush 43 only gave it to Pope John Paul II… Clinton only gave it to General Colin Powell… Bush 41 only gave it to Reagan… Reagan only gave it to Caspar Weinberger… Carter didn’t give it to anyone… Nixon only gave it to the Apollo 11 crew…

The Pope also met with over 1,000 Scandinavian pilgrims at an audience at the Paul VI Hall
The pilgrims came from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
 
The Pope met with a group of orphans from Ukraine at the Vatican
This group of girls ages range from of 6 and 19 and all lost their parents in the war in Ukraine
 
Jubilee Mass for Armed Forces, Police and Security Personnel
 
The Pope presided over an out door Mass for the Armed Forces in St. Peter's Square but was suffering with bronchitis and had breathing difficulties.
 
Despite his bronchitis,Pope Francis held 6 audiences yesterday at the Casa Santa Marta. He received, one of which was with the Iman of the Grand Mosque of Paris and another with the Vice-President of the European Commission.
 
Pope Francis was a surprise guest to Tuesday's heat of the Italian San Remo Festival through a pre-recorded video message.
He spoke about the importance of using music to build peace in a world filled with wars that “destroy children.”
Immediately after the papal message, a performance meant to exemplify this was held—Israeli singer Noa and Palestinian singer Mira Awad performed a duet in Hebrew, Arabic, and English to the tune of "Imagine" by John Lennon.
The duo represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "There must be another way".

He is 88 years old and has well known problems with his lungs…

I get that he don’t want to let people down by cancel things, but he really should be more careful and not work when he is ill…

The catholic church has a jubilee year… A papal funeral and a conclave would be very unwelcome additions to that…
 
Pope Francis resting in hospital, tests show improvement.
A statement released by the Holy See Press Office on Saturday afternoon said the Pope rested throughout the night without experiencing episodes of fever.

“The examinations carried out during the day confirm the respiratory tract infection. The therapy has been slightly modified based on further microbiological findings. Today's laboratory tests show an improvement in some values,” it explained.

Update on Pope Francis' health:
“The Pope had a restful night and slept well. This morning, he read the newspapers and had breakfast as usual. Therapy continues. There will be another update at 5 pm.“

New update on Pope Francis' health released this afternoon:
"Pope Francis rested well during the night. His clinical condition is stable, and the diagnostic and therapeutic process prescribed by the medical staff continues. This morning, he received the Eucharist and followed the Holy Mass on television. In the afternoon, he alternated between reading and resting."

The Pope will spend a fourth day at Rome's Gemelli hospital since being admitted on Friday morning.

HOLY SEE PRESS OFFICE STATEMENT

"The results of the medical tests carried out over the past few days and today have shown a polymicrobial infection of the respiratory tract, which has led to a further change in therapy.

"All tests carried out to date are indicative of a complex clinical picture that will require appropriate hospitalisation."
