Lovely pics, thanks a lot, stephanievl! :)

Shortly before their departure Prince Philippe has given an interview
about their economic mission, this is the most interesting part as
it's most private :) :

You have visited India several times. What is your impression of the country?

India is a fabulous country which has managed unity in diversity and combines its very ancient wisdom with a forward looking spirit of entrepreneurship.

I spent much time reading books on Indian history, philosophy and literature, the famous author Rabindranath Tagore, Amartya Sen and others. I have also frequent contacts with Indian friends who keep me informed on the fascinating evolution of the country.

My wife, Princess Mathilde, shares this attraction for India. We spent our honeymoon in India and came back several times afterwards. Princess Mathilde will also take part in the mission with a very interesting and varied programme.

The complete interview can be found here:

And here's an article from hola.com with some pics:

That would indeed be very nice, indian_royal! Especially
as Mathilde likes and looks good in those strong colours..

Thanks for photos! :flowers:
The economic mission to India appears to be successful. It is always a pleasure to see Crown Princess Mathilde interacting with children.

I totally agree with you. And the journey once more shows what
a great poster girl (in the meaning of flagship) Mathilde is for
Belgium..

In the meantime the journey continued, the third part in Mumbai
has started:

the airport of Mumbai, Wednesday 24 March 2010, in India.

There is a nice interview with the prince here:
De Standaard Online - 'Wie kritiek heeft, heeft niet met mij gewerkt'
He tells about his 50th birthday. He says he stays young because of his little children. He has to climb trees and run after footballs. Sunday mornings are his favorite time, he drinks coffee with his family and they laugh a lot.
He also answered questions about attacks of a politician in the press. The prince seemed not very moved by the attack.

The prince seems to have gained self-confidence. Also his 'stiffness' seems gone. I think is was a very good economic mission for the businessmen and for the prince.

A 13min clip about Philippe and Mathilde in general and their trip to India in particular by German TV channel ZDF
ZDF Royal - ZDFmediathek - ZDF Mediathek

3Q very much! In China, it is hard to see something about the couple by video, because youtube is forbidden in China. I stil want to know who has the video of the wedding for Philippe and Mathilde. I extremely want to see it!

Can anyone translate what the video said into English? I don't understand at all. Thanks in advance.O(∩_∩)O~
