In Europe, since World War 1, modern constitutional monarchy has become the norm. I'm curious about which monarch(s) in each country (if any) is (or will be) viewed/remembered particularly favorably or sympathetically as a model/example? I haven't included monarchs whose reigns were mainly before 1918.

Belgium:
Albert I
Leopold III
Baudouin
Albert II
Philippe

Bulgaria
Boris III
Simeon II

Denmark
Christian X
Frederik IX
Margrethe II
Frederik X

Greece
Alexander
Constantine I
George II
Pavlos
Constantine II

Italy
Vittorio Emanuele III
Umberto II

Luxembourg
Charlotte
Jean
Henri

Monaco
Louis I
Rainier III
Albert II

Netherlands
Wilhelmina
Juliana
Beatrix
Willem-Alexander

Norway
Haakon VII
Olav V
Harald V

Romania
Ferdinand
Carol II
Mihai

Spain
Alfonso XIII
Juan Carlos
Felipe VI

Sweden
Gustaf V Adolf
Gustav VI Adolf
Carl XVI Gustaf

United Kingdom
George V
Edward VIII
George VI
Elizabeth II
Charles III

Yugoslavia
Alexander I
Petar II

I wouldn’t include current monarchs in the list as the judgment for them is still out every one of the current monarchs has the chance to make a Juan Carlos and tarnish their reputation in their last year on the throne!
