The Principality and the Grand Duchy was also known as Pindo or Pindos, sometimes Pindus and Moglena; Македонски - Пиндско - Македонско кнежевство , Aromanian: Printsipat di la Pind; Greek: Πριγκιπάτο της Πίνδου; Italian: Principato del Pindo) was an autonomous state set up under Italian and later German control in northwest Greece in the regions of Epirus, Thessaly and West Macedonia during World War II. It was proclaimed during the Italian occupation of northern Greece in the summer of 1941 as the fatherland of ethnic Aromanians(Macedon Armn )and the Endopi Makedonci , but was never able to assert itself over the local population until its de facto disbandment in 1944. The capital of the statelet was Metsovo (Aminciu in Aromanian), but the national assembly sat in Trikala.
After a long legal battle by the heirs of Prince Alcibiades, the titles of "Prince of Pindus" and "Duke of Macedonia" were reinstated. HRH Andres Ayala, Prince of Pindus and the Duke of Macedonia, direct descendant of the family Diamandi and the current owner of all titles and honors of the Princely House.
The Princely House of Pindus and Macedonia have no diplomatic relations with the current government and has no territorial ambitions on its former dominions, or seek any recognition of them.
There is no doubt that the Prince of Pindus and the Duke of Macedonia has the rights and Ius honorum majestatis, the right to grant titles of nobility and Honorary Orders of Knighthood of the Dynastic Heritage of Princely and Ducal House.

I searched and searched and could not find where to fit in this interesting podcast related to the pre-Charlemagne centuries and monarchies before, during and after the fall of Rome but before Charlemagne.
If any Mod has a better location in mind please move it.

This series, with the three samples below, is just so interesting because it talks about monarchies and nations in development that later became the ones we discuss in here at the RFs. Hope it helps anyone that loves history or just needs ideas for research either for school or self publishing:

Part VI: A Hun Named Attila

Part VII-The Emperor is Dead, Long Live Odovacar, King of Italy

The Emergence of Europe (286-843) Part VIII: Theodoric, King of Italy, almost Emperor of Rome

The Principality of Andorra became part of the kingdom of Navarre via the house of Foix which later became the reigning house of Navarre.
The Count of Foix was also co Prince of Andorra and they later became Sovereigns of Navarre, Andorra was one of the titles of the Foix dynasty.
By agreement the other co Prince was the Bishop of Urgell.
For example ,Catherine de Foix became Queen Regnant in 1483 of Navarre but was also Countess of Foix ,Bigorre ,Viscountess of Béarn and co Princess of Andorra.

The Kingdom of Livonia was a nominal state in what is now the territory of Estonia and Latvia. Russian tsar Ivan IV declared the establishment of the kingdom during the Livonian War of 1558–1583, but it never functioned properly as a polity.
In 1570, the Danish duke Magnus was crowned in Moscow as the king of Livonia. Magnus left Moscow with a Russian army with the intention of conquering Swedish-controlled Reval, but called off the siege in 1571 after failing to capture the city. Magnus eventually fell out of favour with Ivan and defected.

The Kingdom of Westphalia was a client state of France in present-day Germany that existed from 1807 to 1813. While formally independent, it was ruled by Napoleon's brother Jérôme Bonaparte. It was named after Westphalia, but this was a misnomer since the kingdom had little territory in common with that area. The region mostly covered territory formerly known as Eastphalia.
Napoleon imposed the first written modern constitution in Germany, a French-style central administration, and agricultural reform. The kingdom liberated the serfs and gave everyone equal rights and the right to a jury trial. In 1808 the kingdom passed Germany's first laws granting Jews equal rights, thereby providing a model for reform in the other German states. Westphalia seemed to be progressive in immediately enacting and enforcing the new reforms.
The country was relatively poor but Napoleon demanded heavy taxes and payments and conscripted soldiers. Few of the men who marched into Russia with Napoleon in 1812 returned. The kingdom was bankrupt by 1812. When Napoleon was retreating in the face of Allied advances in 1813, the kingdom was overrun by the Allies and (in 1815) most of its territories became Prussian. Most of the reforms, however, remained in place.

Ekateriné Dadiani, Princess of Mingrelia - I came across her family story by pure coincidence, probably from a link you @Blog Real posted on something else and, as the saying goes, I went down the rabbit hole and could not stop reading and clicking on the Reference links off the websites.

I had no idea whom she was nor that she was tricked by the Czar to live as his guest in Peterhof while Russia quietly annexed Mingrelia. Her paternal and/or maternal lineage, like most of the Georgian and Armenia princes, goes back as far as when time almost began either with the Roman Empire of back in Alexander the Great's successor states.

Her house was Dadiani

One of her descendants is an UK gallery owner Eleesa Dadiani but I don't know if she uses the title Princess in the UK. She looks just like a younger version of Princess Ekateriné Dadiani

In English, the Georgian royals family tree

The micro countries and principalities of the Caucasus area

The tragic conquest of the Circassian principalities
