Pic 1 with Dr. Piot from UNAIDSNewly appointed UNAIDS Special Representative, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, today visited UNAIDS to learn more about the programme’s work and meet with its Executive Director, Dr Peter Piot. During her visit, she also met with UNAIDS officials and representatives from the UN Positive Staff Group, a recently formed group of people living with HIV working in the United Nations system. ITA. Mette-Marit has become very educated on HIV/AIDS through her studies in London, her work at NORAD, and her trip to Malawi. I'm sure this knowledge will be very useful in her work.sesa said:This is such a wonderful cause for her to be involved in! I wish her the best for her efforts and hope that she brings attention to something that is so serious.
I'm also glad that she has taken lessons and has done an internship for this cause and is not just lending her "name and pretty face" to try and raise money for them. Good for her! I wish more RF's would follow in her footsteps.
