Of course he knows what happened to the SIM. He had just been called on that same phone to arrange the arrest.
Is Durek an unofficial spokesperson from MariusMarius is a grown adult and should be held accountable for his actions. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but, Durek is right, Marius has to want help himself.
Was there anyone else in the house other than Marius and his mother? Mette-Marit and anyone else who was on the premises need to questioned, if the missing SIM card is even relevant. Were questions asked about how the phone got damaged?Of course he knows what happened to the SIM. He had just been called on that same phone to arrange the arrest.
Since we don't know that she did anything, and the police have not searched Marius' house looking for evidence, that would be a huge leap.Mette-Marit should be arrested and interrogated. From all accounts- and certainly the word of her own son it definetely seems that Mette-Marit tampered with evidence.
Since it has now been several months since the initial "chat" between Marius and the "investigating " officers I sincerely doubt that there would be any evidence to find , after all 30 minutes after communicating with the police Marius's phone was "damaged , and its sim card disappeared . However during their search of the hunting lodge he was staying in with "friends" after his Italian holiday allegedly substances were found . Yes MM has not been questioned formally , as I have stated "innocent until proven guilty ". Personally I hope that MM did nothing more than tidy up her 27yr old sons house , believing that the police might shortly search it , wanting to give the impression that a responsible adult lived there . Unfortunately, thanks to the press now going full on " mea culpa " due to having being caught out covering up Marius's various "escapades" MM and the NRF are now finding themselves dealing with the backlash .Since we don't know that she did anything, and the police have not searched Marius' house looking for evidence, that would be a huge leap.

I agree that if it is "a crucial piece of evidence" then it needs to be pursued further but where is it indicated that this is a crucial piece of evidence? We do know that that after being informed of the impending arrest that Mette-Marit went to Marius' house to "tidy up ". Marius himself is suggesting that the SIM card disappeared during his mother's time cleaning up. So yes, Mette-Marit needs to be interrogated about what happened to a crucial piece of evidence.
Which is the equivalent of my parents “don’t you even dare try to bring shame to our good name”.The worst thing MM did is that, by her actions, she put the NRF and Marius on conflictual positions.
As much as I can understand her instinct to protect and “help” Marius, I cannot understand how she didn’t think through it to the end where she is damaging her other children with her actions. Is she that stupid?
I remember when my boys were small and there were one or two occasions that I’ve been called at school by the principal for things that happened (using their phone during school recess). I was very careful to admonish the child in question in front of the principal, to pass the message that the problem is taken seriously by us, parents, too. So my child would be not labeled “problem”.
Interesting view. That could very well have been her strategy for always and ever protecting her son.Perhaps Marius didn't push his mother under the bridge. Perhaps it was MM's idea, knowing the police would be hesitant to question her.
That thought has crossed my mind as well, however we will, I believe, never know the answer to that question. Nor do I think we will ever know the truth as to whether MM did actively help Marius remove or destroy potential evidence - fortunately.Perhaps Marius didn't push his mother under the bridge. Perhaps it was MM's idea, knowing the police would be hesitant to question her.
Haakon didn't attend cos of private reasons. For whatever it's worth, it does seem MM is forging full steam ahead. Yes she has had sick leave. But she just hosted a lunch with the county governors at the Royal Palace on her own, Haakon didn't even attend (even though he was originally supposed to).

I'd say on a practical level, it would up to the King to decide whether MM should be questioned. In theory he could conduct such a questioning himself (or more likely his lawyers could, or someone appointed by the King, say a Supreme Court judge).Sure, that would be the case with you and me, not being royal. But, doesn't she have immunity because she is a member of the royal family. I know that even diplomats have immunity when it comes to crimes, which IMO is very controversial.
Can she be arrested and interrogated being the CP and future Queen? I don't know royal or Norwegian laws, other members here probably know better.
