It makes one wonder what it is that 'Ody' had to overcome. The CP and CPss seem to have managed to raise a very close knit family, which is nice to see.
 
Perhaps something to do with his birth. Marie-Chantal nearly dies giving birth to Odysseas.

Either way he's grown out to be the tallest (Aristides can still pass him) of the bunch and seems to be a very level-headed boy, into his second year at NYU already.

And I think it refers to something Odysseas remembers - for example some mental crisis he and his family kept private.
 
Odysseas has anaphylaxis, which are severe allergic reactions to medications, food, fish... This was told by his mother, Marie Chantal, when they lived in London, they went to an Asian food restaurant, when they got home, Odysseas had a severe allergic reaction, anaphylaxis, and they had to call an ambulance, he was admitted to a hospital.

Anaphylaxis is very serious and not easy to deal with, because many times you consume foods that have components that you don't know about and to which these people are allergic, no matter how small the amount it contain... and an anaphylaxis attack occurs... Patients of this type usually always carry with them a medication that is injected into the blood to prevent the allergic attack, which is very serious.
 
Well, presumably it’s not public what he’s anaphylactic to, but hopefully it’s just one thing, not several. Poor guy. It’s terrifying and people do die from it, including insect stings or bites. Epi-pens save lives.
