Lady Helen and husband Tim attended the Tate Modern 25th Anniversary Fundraising Gala today, June 25:

I’ve seen this before when Lady Helen can look stunningly stylish and adds something that sends the whole look out of kilter. She’s obviously no slave to fashion .She presumably was going for comfort. I kind of admire this, but wouldn’t want to see it becoming a new trend for royals.
 
Lady Helen is one of my favourites of the extended british royal family, and has certainly no obligations to be a fashionista if she doesn’t want to…. But i would have left the crocs at home if i was her
 
I'm not a fan either but its been very warm in the South of England perhaps they were chosen keep her feet cool?

It was however nice to see Lady Helen and Tim attended the Tate Modern 25th Anniversary gala!
 
Oh well, if you want to keep your feet cool, you can wear sandals, and there a lots of nice sandals for women available.
But it maybe a new fashion thing, just as many men nowadays are wearing trainers together with a suit.
