King Mohammed VI Leaves for Saudi Arabia to Take Part in Morocco-GCC Summit
Fez – King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid, left Morocco Tuesday afternoon heading for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to take part in the Morocco-GCC Summit, which will be held on April 20 in Riyadh.
Upon His departure from the Fez-Saiss airport, the King reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard who made the honors before being greeted by Head of Government, Abdelillah Benkirane, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Councilors, Hakim Benchamach, and Interior Minister Mohamed Hassad.

It`s great to see the King & Prince Moulay Rachid performing visits to fellow Arab countries specially the Gulf-Countries. BTW, who will act as regent during their absence or they don`t have such rules in Morocco ??

there is no sush tradition in Morrocco the country doesn't need a regent during King absent (travel or so) PM took the role of head of state untill his return,the monarchy in Morocco try as possible keep the rest of family memebers away from sush delicate position they are involved only as much as king allows and that include the CP.

King Mohammed VI visits Rwanda
King Mohammed VI arrived Rwanda on Tuesday in the first stop of his African tour.
From Rwanda, King Mohammed VI will move to Tanzania and Ethiopia.
The tour is going on at the time when Morocco is seeking to rejoin the African Union after quitting 30 years ago.
