The Queen is present when the HSMAI honorary award is given out at Radisson SAS Plaza hotel

My translation, in Norwegian here
Yesterday Queen Sonja was awarded the Honorary award from the "Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International". The Queen gets the Prize for her love of travel both in offical and private capacity and that she trough her travels work to increase forreigners knowledge of Norway. The Travelorganisations sees very good results of the way the Royal Family represents Norway in abroad. Especailly important is it how Queen Sonja in a knowledgable and personal way shows her own pictures and tells about her own experiences in Norway abroad. The Queen is a great inspiration for everyone who works to the get tourists to Norway adn HSMAI is happy the Queen has accepted the award

The Queen gives a reception to mark the Ibsen year
Queen Sonja contributed to the weekend of special events honoring Ibsen by hosting a reception at the Royal Palace in Oslo. Here, she welcomes Tancred and Ellinor Ibsen. Tancred Ibsen, a retired diplomat, is Henrik Ibsen's great-grandson.

The actresses honored along with Ibsen over the weekend were also invited to the Palace. Here, Queen Sonja greets Liv Ullmann.

Norwegian diva Wenche Foss (left) was also warmly received by Queen Sonja.

British actress Glenda Jackson was welcomed to the Norwegian Royal Palace as well.

So was actress Claire Bloom, greeted here by Queen Sonja of Norway after Bloom was among those presented with an "Ibsen Centennial Award."

All of these actresses were honored for their interpretations of Henrik Ibsen's characters over the years. From left: Saoli Mitra, Liv Ullmann, Wenche Foss, Lise Fjeldstad, Queen Sonja, Ghita Nørby, Glenda Jackson, Claire Bloom, Bibi Andersson and Angela Winkler.

I agree, Larzen. He looks the happiest then, just like his father.

No, she isn't.

The Queen is going to New York on the 14th to be present at the opening of an exhibition of Munch at the Museum of Modern Art. I guess this was something that went into her programme instead of the Olympics.
