A wonderful photo to mark the 65th Wedding Anniversary!

Nice! I hoped the Royal Palace would release a new photo for the occasion, and that's really a lovely picture of the couple

Queen Paola (87) has fallen. She injured her foot and must now rest for four weeks. That is why she cannot accompany King Albert (90) to King's Day in Brussels next Friday.

Wishing Queen Paola a speedy recovery! Thankfully it doesn't seem too serious, according to the article.

A lovely valentine's date for King Albert and Queen Paola. They have attended a masterclass by Sir András Schiff.
They look very well!

It’s lovely to see Queen Paola looking so well. Was really worried after seeing her at the Queen Paola Foundation event when she looked quite frail.

Really nice to see that Queen Paola has recovered well, and also a good caption from the Royal Palace social media.
Many royal meetings for Sir András Schiff these past days!

Queen Paola was sitting next to Bernard de Launoit's brother Comte Yvan de Launoit. On a Picture I saw in red Archduchess Robert of Habsbourg.

I think you mean Archduchess Rudolf, right? I hadn't noticed her, but she's indeed the woman in red in pic n.16. She's known to be on friendly terms with the Belgian royal family.

yes , it is Archuchess Rodolphe second wife , born Princess Anna Gabriele von Wrede. Sorry for my mistake

Yesterday, King Albert and Queen Paola attended the award ceremony of the fourth edition of the De Sanctis Europa Award at the residence of the Italian ambassador to Belgium, Federica Favi. Queen Paola was one of the people who received this year's awards. More about the award and some pictures at this link

King Albert, 91, has undergone preventive surgery for skin cancer, it was confirmed by the royal palace. The stitches were visible when King Albert appeared at a reception with Queen Paola in Brussels last week (see previous post). According to Wim Dehandschutter, it's at least the 6th time in the past 11 years that he's been treated for skin cancer:
