EDWARDIAN DIAMOND TIARA

LATE 19TH CENTURY DIAMOND TIARA

Two gorgeous pieces. Oh that's a jewellery boutique in Brussels! (......cue the Belgian) I think the palmette one would look good on Eleonore.

They are both lovely, versatile tiaras. And both would be great additions to the collections of Mathilde and Mary, for use by their children / and their partners in the years ahead.

Of the two, I prefer the Edwardian tiara.

Both are exquisite tiaras but my favourite is that Diamond Edwardian tiara and would look wonderful on Queen Mathilde.
The second tiara too is also very lovely and would make a fine tiara for Princess Eleonore or Isabella.

....or the future wife of Crown Prince Christian of Denmark.

Both tiaras are beautiful and would look lovely on young princesses as well as the older ones or queens. A very nice start to a collection of jewels.

Yes I can imagine that one on Mathilde as well.

The tiara/necklace is just gorgeous and the price is reasonable for the size of the diamonds in it

Quite right, it is a well priced and versatile jewel that would be a good addition to the collections of Mathilde, Mary or Victoria, especially for the next generation.

The necklace/tiara is gorgeous, it would be lovely on Eleonore (Honestly whenever I read this thread all I can think of is the Belgians...:p). And I love the pearl necklace as well.

Some other lots from same auction that I like:

2. Diamond necklace

3. Pair of diamond earrings

4. Rock crystal and diamond brooch, 1920s

A beautiful piece. Alexandra´s granddaughter Pss Elisabeth of Ysenburg & Bündingen, née Dss of Schleswig Holstein died last August. Perhaps her two sons are selling this? Quite some other Mecklenburg pieces were sold in recent years so perhaps the sellers can also be the Duchesses Donata and Edwina.

The Sapphire & diamond brooch is beautiful and perfect for Mary or Mathilde!

Two auctions in a week!

The conch tiara reminds me oriental circlet with a set of more unique stones. Love the cabochon emerald necklace, the emeralds are delicious. The diamond choker/bracelet looks great in both form, to certain royal house with limited vault *cough* the Belgian it would be a nice asset

No it indeed had belonged to Princess Elisabeth so it should be her 2 sons who are selling it. The aquamarine tiara who has been sold a few years ago had also belonged to her mother

I like all three items listed above, and they could all be valuable additions to royal collections.

> The tiara is a very usable size, and if they could make it possible to change the conch pearls with different coloured stones, you could have a very versatile tiara.
> Love the Festoon style necklace with the emerald drops. Again, it may be possible to have the drop emeralds interchangeable
> I love chokers, and I thought Mary could do justice to the choker.

The diamond bracelets are really lovely ,not so keen on them worn as a choker.

I really like the Astor tiara - maybe not the curved ends but certainly from the front it is lovely
