Belle Époque Diamond Tiara For Sale at 1stDibs | tiara for sale, tiaras, tiara expensive

Which royal lady could pull this tiara off?

The Price tag is on the higher side ,Princess Charlene of Monaco could do with a proper tiara and hopefully we will see HSH wearing one!

:previous: Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg
Stephanie would do a good job with the tiara. But, ignoring the silly price, it is a good one, IMO, for Mary to buy for the next Crown Princess.

Its a really beautiful tiara and a shame about the price!

What royal lady would purchase this delicated diamond tiara?

Lovely old tiara indeed. As often the case with these suggestions, the tiara would be a good buy for either Mathilde or Mary, with a view for use by their daughters or daughters-in-law in the years ahead.

Would be a very nice starter tiara for Isabella or Eleonore .

The price tag sadly is a tad on the hefty side.
Is it? Estimated at HKD 180-200,000 or £18-20,000, I don't think it is very much money. Add on commission, it is still a reasonable some of money for a piece that will be a useful addition.

Apologies I just looked briefly at the price and hadn't spotted that it wasn't in Pounds or Euro's ;)

Starting bid in US dollars is 23,167.17.

Substantial sapphire and diamond necklace that Mathilde could put to good use:

Ruby & diamond necklace that Victoria or Mathilde could use. The necklace could probably be put on a frame to use as a light tiara as well:

Lovely diamond brooch. Could also be used in a choker style necklace: Broche diamants | Diamond brooch | Fine Jewelry | 2025 | Sotheby's

Substantial pearl and diamond necklace and bracelet:

Pearl and diamond necklace, that either of Victoria, Mary or Mathilde could use:

Substantial emerald ring:

Diamond bracelet:

Sapphire and diamond brooch:

Plenty there for Mathilde to shop from. I especially liked the antique diamond necklaces, the emerald & diamond earrings, and the very similar ruby & diamond earrings. All of these are pieces that could be put to good use in the Belgian collection. Frankly, even Victoria of Sweden could use all of these pieces well.

The pendant here could be used as a brooch too!
EMERALD AND DIAMOND NECKLACE

Minus the Pendant this one would be a lovely addition for Mathilde ,the pendant would be nicer as a brooch too.

The last two lots would be especially fitting for Queen Mathilde!
With a few minor adjustments the bracelet bax be converted into a bandeau or choker. The necklace, on the other hand, can be turned into a simple collet necklace and large corsage brooch, while maintaining the ability to wear them as a single piece.
Both very affordable, too!

2 Excellent choices for Mathilde and money well spent too!

I think the ruby and diamond bracelet is lovely as it is. IMO, it is too small to be made into a choker or a bandeau.

It's not much smaller in terms of height than the bandeau of the Nine Provinces tiara or the Chaumet choker in the Luxembourgish collection. Certainly not a whooper, but a lovely gem-packed and versatile jewel.

And these?

And these?
I am not a fan of the sapphire & diamond necklace. I like the modern diamond necklace, and it could work for Mary, Mathilde or Victoria. I think the antique diamond necklace would be a great addition to collections of Mary or Mathilde, either for themselves or the next generation.

I wonder how it would look if used as a tiara?
