Newspapers De Standaard and Het Laatste Nieuws has an article about the people who repaired the roof of the royal palace on friday. Two Polish and one French illigal worker have been caught by the inspection service.
Article in Dutch here.
One part of the roof was repaired by 3 workers from a Flemish company; all three were from Poland, one had a permit but the other two had not. The other part of the roof was repaired by a company from Wallonia. Two workers were Belgian, the third a frenchman and his permit could not be found either.
The Flemish company Six, from Izegem, denies that the Polish workers are working for them illigaly though. Benjamin Six denies the accusations of the inspection service and says that the permits were in order. The Walloon company says that the french worker was a 'jobstudent'.
An article about that here.
