This back-to-school week, the Crown Couple took Princes Charles and François to the “Kass-Haff” farm in Rollingen for an educational visit. There, they discovered the great diversity of the site - animal breeding, field cultivation and even cheese production - and lent a hand to the farmers by feeding the animals. Managed by Tom and Anja Kass, the farm advocates biodynamic agriculture, respect for the natural cycle and the absence of machines. A know-how - praised by LL.AA.RR. - that the farmers wish to pass on to the general public and especially to the youngest. The Crown Couple warmly thanks the “Kass-Haff” teams for their welcome and the organization of this pleasant visit.

The Crown Couple and their children are so adorable together enjoying their time on the farm. Such a natural family, you can really tell they were all having fun.

Adorable family with their two little cuties. Charles is so grown up. In my mind he's still a chubby baby eating cheesecake for his 1st birthday.

Charles is growing up too quickly!😭But Francois is completely adorable 😍

HGD Guillaume and HGD Stéphanie were received this Thursday by Giovanni Ferrero – Executive President – and his wife, Paola Rossi and visited “Ferrero House” in Ferrero Group.

HGD Guillaume and HGD Stéphanie visited the family business “Kuhn Construction SA” yesterday, October 1:

Guillaume and Stephanie have some pretty unglamorous engagements.🤔
The fortunate thing is that they are always smiling as if they are attending a film premiere, which is lovely and very gracious of them.

Guillaume and Stephanie seem interested no matter where we see them. They are one of my favorite royal couples.

I bet the boys are very jealous that their father was allowed to use the machines.

It will be interesting to see how/if their engagements change after next Tuesday.

HGD Guillaume and HGD Stéphanie visited the heraldic exhibition “Ars Heraldica – The world of coats of arms” at BnL today, dedicated to these emblems that date back to the Middle Ages.

HGD Stéphanie visited the Emile Mayrisch Hospital Center in Esch-sur-Alzette this Monday as part of Breastfeeding Week.

I absolutely love the idea to take the little princes to visits to homes for elderly people. It was an absolute delight to watch the interaction between the generations and to see the joy the two cuties bring to the residents. Therefore I think maybe this topic deserves its own thread ...

HGD Guillaume and HGD Stéphanie at the “Mystesch” exhibition organized by the “BeCraft” association in collaboration with the “De Mains De Maîtres” Biennial. This association was founded by Guillaume and Stéphanie.

Today a lovely video of the recent meeting with military personnel deployed abroad and their families has been released:

HGD Guillaume and HGD Stéphanie visited the the Ettelbrück branch of the "Voice of the Street" association yesterday, December 17:

Here are a video and some more photos of yesterday's inauguration:

The school is called ‘Prince Charles’, so very fitting that he did the official act.
Very fitting indeed, even more so considering that he is now close in age to the children who will be visiting the new school. Will he himself start school this year already?

I am certain that Charles has been enrolled in pre-school for at least the past year.

But he will be five years old in May and I am not sure at what age formal education begins in the Grand Duchy?

In Luxembourg the education obligatory starts at the age of four and „is composed of 4 cycles instead of school years“, Wikipedia offers a good overview:

Most royal houses mark the first day of school of children of the heir but for some reason, the Luxembourg grand ducal house not only omitted that but doesn’t provide information on which school he attends either.

The article is from last summer. Guillaume and his family were advertising for a job, among other duties taking care of the two little princes.
I am surprised that they don't advertise for a nanny for the children, who does nothing else than caring for them. It seems this job is including a lot of work considering the pay which is not that much .

"The list of requirements is long, the list of tasks even longer: the Grand Ducal Court needs staff and has very clear ideas in this regard, as can be seen from the job description on the civil service recruitment platform (govjobs.public.lu). They are looking for a maid or valet who will be responsible, among other things, for the official and private wardrobe and jewelry of their Highnesses as well as managing the clothing for the children.

Speaking of children: accompanying Prince Charles, the eldest son of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, to school and extracurricular activities is also part of the remit. The same applies to the aesthetic planning, execution and coordination of hairdressing and beauty appointments, looking after the two princes at their parents' official activities or on trips abroad, as well as opening and closing the palace“

Both GD Guillaume and his brother Felix attended the primary school at Lorentzweiler. Maybe that's where Prince Charles is also attending school.

True. The Grand Ducal House is more discreet in this regard.

But I remember we had first day of school photos of Ingrid Alexandra, Leonor, Christian, Catharina-Amalia, George and maybe Estelle and Elisabeth from Belgium.

We may only have photos and more information when Charles goes to primary school...

Thank you very much for the information, iceflower! So no wonder little cutie Charles could already sign with his name
