Whose mother are you referring to? I am not aware of either prince Philip or his wife's Danica's mother being called 'princess Elzabeth'. Philip's mother is the Duchess of Segorbe, born princess Maria da Gloria of Orléans-Braganza.

Danica's parents are not royal (so no 'princess'); and more precisely, they are: Milan "Cile" Marinković (b. 1947 in Belgrade) and Zorica "Beba" Krupež

Note: I cannot open Instagram and I've noticed that some members mix up his and her, so I am just trying to understand whom they were meeting with.

Edit: I guess I understand now, the mother and princess Elizabeth are two separate people, found this picture of a princess Elizabeth and Dragan Babic at their wedding.

Danica and I attended the Holy Bishop's Liturgy this morning, which was celebrated by Bishop Jovan of Šumadija in the Church of St. George in Oplenac. After the Liturgy, the bishop also served a memorial service for the blessed King Peter I, after the check, we laid wreaths on his grave as part of the state ceremony. I just saw an interview on eurohistoryjournal an interview with the Duchess of Sergobe and one striking thing was that Prince Stefan barely knows his grandfather among other things.
 
I recall recently he was complaining that she didn't do enough for Serbia... Has he changed his tone?

He gave an interview for the National TV in which he recalls meeting Queen Elizabeth II for the first time in the 90s, while living in London and was full of praise for her and her lifetime work.

He also mentioned King Charles III and his special connection to the Orthodox faith and said that he hopes that that connection will continue further...
 
Yes, there are always hopes of connections continuing but Charles III has reinforced his commitment to the Christian faith but that does not mean he will not defend other faiths. Truly this is a very private matter for each individual

Prince Charles and Prince Philip regularly donated money for Serbian Orthodox monastery Hilandar, known as the Holy Mountain.

Prince Philip, in the company of his son Prince Charles, regularly visited the Holy Mountain several times. They are also honorary members of the English Society of Friends of the Holy Mountain. The last time Prince Charles privately visited the Hilandar Monastery was on September 12, 2003.

The wording Charles used in his speech was that his 'faith is firmly rooted in the Church of England' - which in my eyes is not a renewed commitment of his (personal) Christian faith but more a commitment to taking up his role in the Church of England as the source of his own faith (which doesn't mean that he agrees with all of its teachings imho - the church is quite broad as well, so it shouldn't be too hard to recognize himself in one of the many streams within the church).

They are not invited together with the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess. But the Crown Princess Sister did attend .
 
If I understand it correctly. They were invited but Philip declined as he didn't want to put up a show (just be there as a prop for the pictures) as if things were all well within the family.
