I'm delighted to have found this forum, which seems to have a wealth of information and bright, intelligent members.
Although I have a general interest in all royalty, I'm particularly taken with the Romanovs, the royal family of pre-revolutionary Russia. The love between Nicky and Alix was so unique for their day, when most royal marriages were made for political and strategic reasons. And, of course, their horrific deaths make the family all the more poignant.
I'm looking forward to reading the posts and maybe chatting with some of you.
