The preparations for the wedding have been conducted beautifully and the organisation exactly to the high standard it always is. We will see the finer details of the wedding such as flowers, music, clothes, processions etc on Saturday to see how well everything has been organised.
We will also see the seemless and rather minor alteration being put into effect due to Tom St absence.
Meghan probably saw more of the cast of Suits in one week than Harry saw of these relatives his entire life. So I don't care. Let them invite who they want. It is their wedding.
If cast members of Suits are her friends, they are still very much her present.Cast of SIuts is her PAST, Kents and Gloucester are her FUTURE.

Not according to the "inside information" quoted in the earlier DM piece. Several staff were complaining about how preparations were way behind schedule and chaotic compared to William and Kate's wedding for example.
Believe what you want, but I trust the DM article on this one.
BTW: The best confirmation for me and enjoying this wedding just came to pass as my hubby who is avidly following the IIHF series of games going on has asked me to confirm just what hours will *not* be available for him to watch games due to the royal wedding coverage. As much as I love ice hockey myself, this wedding is a one of kind, probably never to be repeated again for me in my lifetime and hubby understands that.![]()
*Two more sleeps*...
No, I don't feel that it cheapens the wedding. My toes are curling from hearing that Elton is performing.....shudder
I think that cheapens the event. Am i the only one neg on this?
No, I don't feel that it cheapens the wedding.
Elton sang at Harry's mother's funeral, it was a very touching moment for me at the time, and I'm sure for others old enough to remember, it will be equally touching as we reflect back on the forlorn little boy we watched at that time now being serenaded at his own wedding all grown up and seemingly happier than he's been in many years.
So we still don't know who's walking Meghan down the aisle?
I think it will be her mother or Prince Charles walking her down the aisle...also possible she goes down the aisle by herself.

I completely agree.
I think she could honor her father's wishes and have Doria walk her down the aisle.
I don't think honoring her father's wishes are mandatory, especially in this situation.

Wonder if we will get pictures of the arrivals at Frogmore for the reception? Is it on private roads? I’m guessing so as we didn’t see any arrival pictures from Peter and Autumns wedding?

The thing is, me (and some others here) have expressed the idea that Charles is not quite right to walk Meghan down the aisle. He's there to support his son, not technically there for her. Plus he's going to "give her away" when she was never "his" in the first place? Does not quite make sense to me.
It's her decision---ultimately she might go with Doria or just walk alone.
As long as it happens. Dear God, two more days of waiting...........![]()

Meghan has spoken, saying her father wil not be at the wedding.
Charles and Camilla have had tea with Meghan's mother, who has now also met William, Catherine and the children.
Ms Ragland is currently staying at Kensington Palace and is due to met the Queen with Harry and Meghan.
(Sorry if this has already been posted - couldn't see it anywhere.)
When is Ms Ragland going to meet the Queen ?
