Is it just me or does it seem Henri and MT are doing more since Guillaume was made Lieutenant Representative?
 
They started becoming rather active in the months leading up to making Guillaume the Lieutenant Representative. I thought it would be their last streak - I don't understand this whole arrangement at all given how active they've remained after Henri relinquished most of his duties to his son. There clearly was no (good) reason at all to hand over the duties to Guillaume.
 
It's very clear to me that they(the Grand Duke and Duchess) are thinking of their legacy. They want to leave on a high note of hard work, kindness, humanitarianism. Not the sour taste left by the scandals and dreadful publicity of the Waringo Report.

They are doing what they can to control the narrative so that the Henri's entire reign isn't defined by the Waringo Report.🤔
 
Yes I suspect they are having one last hurrah but IMO it would have been better to have a year of activities like this and then announce Guillaume as Lieutenant Representative. I’d get doing a farewell tour of sorts and doing a last year of key duties but in that case they should do it with Henri and Guillaume together. Seems odd to me but I guess it is what ever works for them.
