Thanks for the recap of the German Royals. Lucky some are still in the Family. The German Royals are keeping one tiara for the Weddings but a lot of jewels are sold

I was going through Ursula’s website about the Baden royal jewelry and some of her photos of the pieces are quite modern like this one Here

Were those pieces auctioned by the family?

It looks like the important Bavarian ears of wheat tiara from the upcoming Sotheby's auction actually left the Bavarian collection more than half a century or so ago!

Judging by old photos, it seems that the tiara was worn by Princess Gabriele, the daughter of Crown Prince Rupprecht and Princess Antonia of Luxembourg. I've been able to find photo of the late Dowager Duchess of Croy wearing the tiara (or a very, very similar one) over the years: on her wedding day and the wedding ball of Countess Helene zu Törring-Jettenbach and Archduke Ferdinand Karl of Austria.

Don't know if the star tiara and other Bavarian jewels have the same provenance.

The so called mystery tiara of Princess Birgitta of Hohenzollern:

It is in fact an opal tiara previously worn by Duchess Maria Immakulata of Württemberg, Archduchess of Austria-Tuscany:

The Hanover Topaz Parure has not been seen since the early 1990's and has not been worn by the current Princess of Hanover.
Hanoverian Topaz Parure
But then Caroline has not often worn hannover Jewels except for the danish royal Wedding in 2004. Usually she is going with the Grimaldi Jewels or her own.

Bavarian Lover's Knot Tiara
This is an interesting tiara. At one time it went from Bavaria to be used by the Queen of Greece. Eventually the tiara returned to Bavaria.
