General Questions About The Ruling Family Of Abu Dhabi 1:

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I never thought about who would be the favorite nephew and cousin in Bano Fatima, but Zayed bin Hamdan really is a great candidate.

Today he is hidden from the spotlight heading one of those companies under Tahnoun bin Zayed's umbrella - About Us - but I believe that he will be one of Khalid's greatest allies in his reign; as Khalid gains power and surpasses his uncles, and later, when Mohamed bin Zayed transfers responsibilities to his son, we will see Zayed bin Hamdan gaining more and more importance.

Do you guys have any information about Moza bint Butti Al Qubaisi? Was she the mother of Mahra bint Khalid bin Sultan? Did she have any other children?

Also do you know more information about Butti Al Qubaisi (his wife and children)?
Just found this post.
The father of Salama bint Butti (Sheikh Zayed's mother): Butti bin Khadem Al Qubaisi
Butti's parents were Qout bint Rashid Al Nuaimi and Khadem Al Qubaisi. Butti also had three sisters: Afra, Hamda and Adla.

Butti bin Khadem Al Qubaisi married 3 times:
1) Moza bint Hamed bin Sultan Al Falahi by whom he had: son Hamed and daughters: Salama, Wadima, Fakhera and Roudha
- Hamed
- Salama married Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and had issue: Shakhbout, Hazza, Zayed, Khalid and Maryam
- Wadima married Butti bin Khalfan Al Qubaisi and had issue: Mohammed and Moza
- Fakhera married Dar bin Yasser Al Qubaisi and had issue: Hilal and Alia
- Roudha remained unmarried

2) daughter of Mohammed Al Qubaisi by whom he had son Saeed
- Saeed married first his cousin: a daugher of Mohammed bin Khadim but didn't have children with her, then he married Aisha bint Ali Al Rumaithi and had issue a daughter Danqa (Danqa married Hilal bin Dar bin Yasser and had Fahkra bint Hilal)

3) daughter of Abdullah Al Qubaisi by whom he had a son Khadim.

And there's Moza bint Butti but I dont know who her mother was. Moza bint Butti married Khalid bin Sultan and had Mahra and Mohammed (could she be the daughter of Wadima bint Butti bin Khadem: Moza bint Butti bin Khalfan?)

Are there any sources of the Al Qubaisi/Al Hamed families?

A fan account of Al Nahyan Royal Family posted this on Instagram. What heppened? Is there any issue?

Salama bint Butti Al Qassimi (daughter of Fakhra Al Nahyan - not sure if she's from the Saqr or Shakhbout line) and her husband Mohammed bin Mayed Al Qassimi had twin girls Wadima and Alyazia bint Mohammed on October 25. They already have sons Hamdan (born 2022), Nahyan (born 2023) and daughters Shaikha (2021), Fakhra and Osha (2024). Congrats!

Who is the mother of Salha bint Zayed? Do Zayed bin Mohammed bin Hamdan have other kids?
May be Sheikha Maytha bint Majid bin Obaid bin Juma Al Maktoum. I know some children of Zayed bin Mohammed, but didn't know about Salha.

Can someone please explain to me whats going on with UAE, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Can someone please explain to me whats going on with UAE, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Earlier on Tuesday, the leader of Yemen's presidential council announced a state of emergency after a Saudi Arabia-led strike on the southern port of Mukalla.

Saudi Arabia said the strike targeted an arms shipment from the United Arab Emirates meant to reach Yemeni separatists. The UAE denied and later announced it would withdraw its remaining forces from Yemen following an ultimatum.

The Saudi-backed presidential council issued a 72-hour ban on all border crossings in its territory except those allowed by patron Riyadh, while also calling for UAE forces to leave its territory in 24 hours.

The security pact between Yemen and Abu Dhabi has also been canceled by the council.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed and his wife Sheikha Fakhra bint Khalifa have welcomed their third child Fatima on 2.01.2025. Congrats to the family. Sheikh Mohammed has another grandchild.

On 1.01. Sheikha Mariam bint Khalifa bin Saif and sheikh Mubarak bin Khalifa bin Hamdan welcomed their second child Moza.

Sheikha Fatima bint Saeed bin Saif and Mubarak bin Hamdan bin Mubarak had a boy Khaled.

Do you happen to know who are the other children of Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikha Fakhra?
I have a son Khalifa, born on 29-2-2024 and now a daughter Fatima

Hamdan bin Mohammed and Sheikha Fakhra's other children are two sons, Mohammed and Khalifa

Shakhbout bin Tahnoun bin Saeed bin Shakhbout and Hamda bin Saeed bin Hamdan are engaged

@Puchu do you still update the list of suitors for Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed?

Shakhbout bin Tahnoun bin Saeed bin Shakhbout and Hamda bin Saeed bin Hamdan are engaged
They are officially married now. They were engaged since June' 25. I think They will have a celebration after Eid along with other engaged couples.

I strongly believe that Fatima bint Mansour is currently the most likely candidate for Zayed. He has no other unmarried eligible cousins left, as the other girls I considered are already married. If not Fatima, then the bride would have to be from another emirate, which seems unlikely. If it weren’t for Fatima, I don’t think Zayed would still be waiting, he is already 30 and most likely they are waiting for her graduation. Khalifa’s granddaughters are only marrying within his grandsons, which reduces the options further. Other than Mohammed bin Hamad’s sister and Fatima bint Abdullah, who are unmarried, the expectation is that they will marry their maternal cousins.
But i saw some fan accounts saying about Mohammed bin Abdullah for Fatima bint Mansour. Let's see what actually happens....

Interesting, thank you very much my friend. I don't follow these family matters as closely as I did a few years ago. The dynamics today are different from the time of the first marriages involving the children of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.

The Bani Fatima concentrated practically all the power for himself, perhaps with the exception of Said bin Zayed; all the other 12 sons (or their lineages) were sidelined; the Bani Mohammed was sidelined, the other smaller lineages were sidelined.

Today, to reach power, you need to be connected to the Bani Fatima, either by blood or by marriage. I wouldn't be surprised to see more 'intra-Bani Fatima' marriages in the future, which really gives more strength to these daughters of Mansour and Abdullah for Zayed bin Mohammed.

I am observing what the power core would be in the slow transition of power from the President to Crown Prince Khalid.

If Mohamed bin Zayed were to die today, for example, I still believe his succession would be contested by his brothers, and I imagine Saudi Arabia would try to intervene in some way.

It is strategic for the President to increasingly pass power to his son.

Obvious names in Khalid's inner circle would be:
His brothers: Dhiyab bin Mohamed, Hamdan bin Mohamed, Zayed bin Mohamed

Khalifa bin Tahnoun, head of his court. Shakhbout bin Nahyan, Minister of State, internal sources say he is very close to the Crown Prince. Ahmed bin Tahnoun, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed as well.

Other names who have accompanied Khalid on official engagements: Zayed bin Surour, Dhiyab bin Khalifa bin Hamdan.

Names currently without prominence, but which wouldn't surprise me if they appeared in important positions: Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed, Mohamed bin Surour.

Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun has a political trajectory much more closely linked to the President than to Khalifa, but he will remain in power for quite some time.

Mohamed bin Tahnoun has a trajectory independent of his father-in-law and brother-in-law, he is more closely linked to his uncle (Saif); he will most likely one day be part of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council (as Police Commander) and has a relative chance of reaching the Ministry of the Interior.

Nahyan bin Saif stepped out of the spotlight as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and became "Deputy Minister of State," I expected more prominence, they didn't know what to do with him.

Zero sign of a political career for Khalifa bin Sultan bin Hamdan.
