General Questions About The Ruling Family Of Abu Dhabi 1:

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
The delegation that Khalid took to visit the Crown Prince of Bahrain is interesting; in addition to Khalifa bin Tahnoun (his chief of staff and who already participates in most strategic meetings), he took his younger brother Zayed bin Mohamed and his first cousin Dhiyab bin Khalifa bin Hamdan, this is their first participation in meetings led by Khalid.

I remember that Zayed bin Surour appeared in the only meeting, a long time ago.

Little by little we are discovering what Khalid's base of allies will be within the family.

Khaled's brothers, maternal full cousins and his brother in laws are his team. Khalifa bin Tahnoon is very close to MBZ and he is the trusted one from his relatives. I think Mansoor's son will also join him. There is very little chance of his distant relatives and half counsins

There is no room for everyone, let's watch these movements carefully, they will be decisive in knowing who will be part of Khalid's reign in the coming decades

Today the team of young Sheikh's linked to Khalid would be:

Dhiyab bin Mohamed, brother, holds position in the Presidential Court
Hamdan bin Mohamed, brother, has a position in the Presidential Court
Zayed bin Mohamed, brother, no position, but accompanies his father and brother on trips
Mohamed bin Hamad, brother-in-law, very close to the President, not necessarily Khalid, but has a lot of power; has a position in the Presidential Court
Zayed bin Hamdan, brother-in-law, very close to Khalid and with a strategic position in Tahnoun bin Zayed's companies
Nahyan bin Saif, brother-in-law, Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, not necessarily linked to Khalid, but is close to the President
Khalifa bin Tahnoun, cousin, his Chief of Staff
Shakhbout bin Nahyan, cousin, minister of state, said to be linked to Khalid
Ahmed bin Tahnoun, brother-in-law, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, linked to Khalid
Zayed bin Surour, brother-in-law, participated in a private meeting with Khalid and authorities
Dhiyab bin Khalifa bin Hamdan, cousin, participated in the trip to Bahrain led by Khalid

Sheikh MBZ issues a decree appointing Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed as Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region

I also believe Hazza is the favorite. Hamdan is already the Governor of Al Dhafrah, I don't believe he would get a "promotion" at this point in his career. Mansour as Vice President does not need this position, I agree with you. Regarding Tahnoun, I believe that the duties of this position do not match Tahnoun's personality, and he already has too many powers and responsibilities. Regarding Abdullah, I disagree with you, I believe he has the ideal profile to perform the duties of this position.

And if we stop to think, Bani Fatima already has a President, a Vice President, two Deputy Rulers and a Representative in Al Dhafrah. Only Abdullah was not presented with a position of this nature, I do not doubt that this position was reserved for him.

My main names are Hazza and Abdullah

It happened

So what's the next "big thing" in Abu Dhabi? This year we already had Abdullah becoming Deputy Prime Minister and Hazza becoming Ruler's Representative in Al Ain

I don't see any news in the short and medium term in the positions of President, Vice President, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Ruler, Ruler's Representative... these main positions will enter a period of calm

The most I can see is Khalid appointing his trusted relatives to positions of authority on the Executive Council

At some point MBZ will replace his brothers (Mansour, Tahnoun, Saif and Abdullah) in the ministries and place his sons, sons-in-law, nephews... but I don't see that in the short term.
