If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Hang in there, Your Majesty.

An update about the King's health was released by the Palace today, October 25:

** kongehuset: Kongen sykmeldt ut uken **

His Majesty the King is recovering well, but will be on sick leave for the rest of the week.

The annual dinner for the representatives of the Storting at the Palace on Thursday will be held as planned, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Regent will take over the King's role as host. Her Majesty the Queen, Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess and Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner will also be present.

I saw something on social media that the King & Queen had been spotted on a flight to London, apparently there is a tradition they go to London for Christmas shopping in November. I wonder if they popped into see Charles and Camilla.

I suspect we are unlikely to know if H&S visited C&C, those visits remain private.

King Harald and Queen Sonja visited Øye on Wednesday on their way to the wedding.
The visit was hardly accidental; in 1993 they celebrated their silver wedding at Hotel Union on Øye, and now they celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary. According to Møre-Nytt, it was precisely a visit to the newly renovated Hotel Union Øye that was on the program during the several-hour visit.
At 17.00., the royal couple were driven in motorcade down to the quay to be transported back to the Royal Yacht.
On Thursday, The Royal Yacht lay outside Tafjord in Storfjorden for a couple of hours, but moved west again, towards Ålesund, at 11.00.

Queen Sonja accompanied by her friends attended a concert.

From the royal court
"The Queen suffered atrial fibrillation (atrial fibrillation) during a skiing trip earlier today. The situation is not considered serious and the Queen is in good shape.:

Apparently when she was skiing… It is so impressive that she at the age of 87 still can go on hiking and ski trips, but perhaps her body is starting to tell her ”Sonja you are not a youngster anymore… Slow down”
True. Heart issues are always scary. I am sure she will be well taken care of now she is at the hospital and hopefully she'll be able to leave soon - probably with some medication and lifestyle advise.

My grandmother skied until she was 92, I kid you not.
But heart issues are indeed scary, God bless her and may she recover fully, darling Harald needs her!

Is Haakon probably not in the country either? In that case the government takes on regency...

Tomorrow Crown Prince Haakon will attend the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland. Perhaps may have traveled to Poland today.

Is Haakon probably not in the country either? In that case the government takes on regency...

No, Haakon is regent. The article says that that's what the Palace told them when asked. The article complains that unlike the Danish Royal Family, they don't put it on the website whenever Haakon is regent. Only when Haakon has an event that day, can you see it because it then says "Crown Prince Regent".

They are now being watched very closely and things are written about that never were before. They never announced a regency.
They are now being pictured and written about each and every time they leave Oslo Airport, it wasn't like this before...

Trond Norén Isaksen often have very strong opinions about the Norwegian RF… Often he is right, and he is a very knowledgable and intelligent historian who never second-guesses anything, but sometimes i think he goes overboard…

This critisism i think is uneccessary… The regent is always Haakon whenever he is at home, and the government collectively if Haakon is also abroad… Everyone in Norway knows that even without a press statement at the royal houses website..

Here in Sweden it is rarely any announcements about who is ”Riksföreståndare” when The King is abroad or incapacitated for other reasons… The only reason we knew that Princess Madeleine was on as ”Riksföreståndare” for a week last autumn was because the media choosed to write about the trip to Brazil for the rest of the family..
