This story was is over the British media yesterday in light of the new book about to be published.
IMO, the decision to bring the story into the public domain was for the Queen alone, and not for Boris Johnson to reveal.

That said, it just shows that Queen Camilla is not to be easily messed with. Her son has, in the past, described her as quite a tough individual, and this clearly demonstrates that.

Both Harry and the King have been seen arriving (separately) at Clarence House this evening, so it seems likely that a meeting is on the cards. I couldn't care less if neither Harry nor Meghan ever set foot in the UK again, but, for the sake of the King and the children getting to know each other, I hope that something can be sorted out.

Camilla is clever enough to understand that a face to face father/son is MUCH needed.

That' said 55 minutes will not change that much i guess. But that's a start. Of what ? Time will tell.

I don't think either Harry or Camilla have much interest (yet at least) in meeting. Too much water under that bridge right now.

Charles has little to lose by meeting Harry - if details don't leak out then there may be very tentative steps towards rebuilding trust. If anything does leak out then Harry shows himself as having not changed and not caring all that much about his family or reconciliation after all, despite publicly saying he does.

Harry has much more to lose IMO.

A wonderful, cute little meeting today:

The King surprises Gabby, the Dumfries House Dog of the Decade 👑🐕

Earlier this summer, the annual Fun Dog Show took place at the @kingsfdn HQ, @dumfrieshouse. In celebration of the event’s tenth anniversary, we introduced a special ‘Dog of the Decade’ category, which crowned Gabby the golden retriever as the worthy winner 🏆

Today, His Majesty surprised Gabby and owner Pam to congratulate them on their triumph as part of his visit to the Dumfries House estate.

Congratulations, Gabby!

This is a few days story about event happening few months ago.

King held Windsor Castle meeting with former closest aide Michael Fawcett

So apparently it's possible to have a meeting with Charles in Windsor without it being plasterred all over the papers the next day.

Above article is reporting this article by the Daily Mail.

King's secret meeting with former aide who quit over cash for honours

Somehow this lines make me think of Andrew-Epstein.

Last night, a well-placed source said: 'His Majesty has never stopped feeling the loss of Michael being forced to resign. He often confides that this is the one person he can scarcely do without.

'They're kindred spirits. This is about righting wrongs. In the King's eyes, Michael is innocent of what he was accused of. The King relied so much on Michael. He had the King's back.'

But it proves that a private meeting involving the king can be kept secret from the press for a while. Or as stated in the article "It is understood the meeting was kept quiet to avoid speculation."

Here we have a private meeting between the king and his former staff who was involved in scandal and the press only sniff it months after it happened. And then, there's another meeting of the king and his estrange son and the press conveniently was in place to take photographs and the said meeting was reported within a day after it happened. So if the former was (intentionally) "kept quite" to avoid speculation, what does it say about how the latter meeting was handled? Does it mean they don't care of the speculation of the latter?

The King's Foundation released a new portrait of King Charles for an upcoming Amazon documentary.

The photo was taken at the Arboretum at Highgrove House in July 2025:

The documentary looks very interesting. I like the portrait photo which shows his sartorial elegance.

It is time to close this thread. Youc an find the new one here:
