Following the death of Didier Guillaume in June this year ,Prince Albert appointed Philippe Mettoux as First Minister of Monaco and was due to take office later this summer.
On June 26th ,Philippe Mettoux withdrew his acceptance and Albert II HAS “taken note” of the withdrawal.
The acting First Secretary Isabelle Berro-Amadeï will remain in the position for the time being.

Yes, she maintained dual citizenship for the rest of her life. I have read her three children were born with dual citizenship but they have since renounced this status.
