Fashion for the little and teenage royals Part 20: November 2023 -

Gabriella and Jacques during a visit to Côtes-d'Armo in Matignon, Bretagne, France, today, April 9.

Both are well and elegantly dressed, but something more colorful, brighter would have been nicer for Gabriella - it is April and not October to December:

It’s certainly not what you would expect a young girl might want to wear in spring after a long winter.. I also note the mini -me aspect in terms of colours.

There could be a cool sea breeze and they have need of a coat , Gabrielle looks lovely for the visit.

They were in Northern France on the coast so a bit chilly. Other people around them were also in coats and puffer jackets.

:previous: Please see my post again, I was talking about the colours of the Gabriella's look only. Brown and black are autumn and winter colours for me.

Definitely keeping my money on Josephine being the fashionista. She just seems to have the most interest in it (or even a knack while still being relatively young).

Estelle attended the world premiere of Young Opera's Julius Caesar at the Royal Swedish Opera yesterday. Händel's classic opera about passion and rivalry has been moved to a schoolyard, the version lasts about an hour.

That is interesting, I find Josephine's sartorial sense to be rather mumsy, for the record Josephine is one of my favorites in her age group and I think it is her prerogative.

I am indifferent to Countess Athena of Denmark, but she is my one to watch sartorially in her age group.

Very sad colours for a little girl. Gabriella has a very pale complexion, she needs more warm and vivd colours.

what a great outfit! a jumpsuit but with giant, to the floor sleeves that have sequins in the inside.

Josephine, Disco Queen. 🪩 (Someone got a full dose of her farmor’s theatrical flair sans shyness, it seems.)

How were the sparkles not noticeable at her brother’s event? Or has it been altered?

Actually the sparkly inserts in the legs look like the same material as her mother's dress for Christian's 18th.

ps: even letting the ensemble out it seems that Josephine has not really increased that much in height. Perhaps she is going to be the family fashionista and pocket rocket!

It may be a nightmare for royal houses to dress their young teenage girls in gala frocks. How to do it when they are so used to pants and trainers with their friends?

Josephine looks fab but the pantsuit is a bit too mature for her age...but I've never dealt with their problems :giggle:

My only sartorial issue is with Vincent. The sleeves of his shirt are way too long - the cuffs almost engulf his whole hands. A faux de pax that can't continue with such handsome young man.

Princess Eléonore on the photos released for her 17th anniversary today, a nice, fresh and clean look:

And Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent during the celebration for Queen Margrethe's 85th birthday today - Josephine wore a Dolce & Gabbana floral dress of her mother:

The pantsuit (designed by Jesper Høvring) has indeed been altered, see the original version in 2023:

Learning from her mother already - reduce reuse and recycle. The Dane's now how to rewear but with interesting changes that makes you think its new

exactly! Not just put on the same thing but make alterations, have fun with it.
I like Josephine's choice of wearing the same pantsuit for both her older brother and sister's 18th birthday. A nice connection

Today's dress works really well on her. Nothing like going to your mom's closet.
Vincent just a ham in a suit, too cute

Estelle wore on her grandfather's birthday April 30 her mother's Gant coat:

Estelle looked very grown-up and really stood out in red on the balcony — but the fit was awkward.
