Here is a nice BB gallery of royal men in uniform.
Without mentioning Polyesco, I'm sure this will delight some of you.

We have first Frederik in his navy dress uniform, as rear admiral. - Without headgear, but it's the navy...
Then Joachim in his gala uniform as full colonel in the army.
PH is his full dress uniform as general in the air force.
Carl Phillip in his navy mess uniform.
King Willem Alexander. I understands he is wearing a special non-branch uniform. Whatever it is, it's a full dress uniform.
Frederik IX in his dress uniform as full admiral in the navy.
Prince Phillip in a full dress, summer/hot weather uniform. Not sure about the details. The British have and certainly had, a bewildering number of uniforms!
King Felipe in a full dress uniform of a full general in the army. Lancer I think.
Harald in his mess uniform as a vice-admiral in the navy.
William in a regimental uniform, Irish Guards?
Carl Phillip in indistinct (it's the navy again...) full dress uniform of the navy.
King Felipe in a dress uniform as full general in the air force.
Harry in a dress uniform I don't know. But I see he went up a hole, since he first acquired it...
PH in his dress uniform as full admiral in the navy.
William in flight suit.
Joachim in a full dress uniform of a guards regiment.
Joachim as full colonel in his service/field uniform.
Frederik in his service uniform of the Guards Hussars.
King Willem Alexander in an army service/field uniform.
And finally Harry in a New Zealand field/service uniform.

I like the jeans and blazer , especially the jeans :)

Prince William in his Blue- uniform is always perfection. I still regret he had to put in the red Irish-guard-one.
Haakon in his black uniform is a good second.

I will have my grandfather the shoemaker try to get in touch with Haakon about making him new shoes.
 
Peter wears any clothes very well whether it is casual wear or royal attire such as attending a royal wedding or Royal Ascot.
 
Muhler, I've got a question for you that's been in the back of my mind lately. What is the appropriate men's wear to walk a neighbor's pet turtle in? Is it a turtleneck shirt? I would imagine that as walking a pet turtle isn't a fast paced endeavor, it most likely would be leisure wear. Right? Inquiring minds need to know.

Frederik today, in top form with a nice grey suit and copper tie. The tie really makes this outfit pop :cool:

I have to admit that I prefer the full dress navy uniform to the gala uniform. It is undeniable the best looking uniform of the three branches.

Here we have a school-example of a Swede out of his depth.
- Dress casually?!? I'm a Swede, I don't know how to dress casually!

You can tell how he first put on his pants. Light pants, a Swede will only wear during the months of June, July and August. :ermm:
And in order to look sporty and casual he put on these huge grey barges on his feet.
Then he looked in the mirror and started to shake nervously! :eek:
But putting on a shirt, a tie and a double-breasted suit he calmed down enough to be able to attend this event.

An astonishing transformation! He looks naturally casual. Effortlessly casual in fact. And behold: New, clean shoes! :cool:
That is not a sight we are treated to every day on these pages. ;)
But when it comes to shoes, Daniel always deliver!

I wonder... Can we be sure this is the real, genuine, Daniel? :ohmy:

About thirty years ago. Maybe Daniel bought up the last supplies and they have now run out? I think he looks much nicer without his hair severely slicked back and also wearing some casual clothing has done great things for his image.

:previous: I do like the pattern of Frederik's tie. It is quite conservative. Some men do not like bold patterns.
