Now lets begin this thread on a high fashion note.
Frederik becoming the new patron for the Red Cross in a nice suit and beautiful tie

Nice dark brown shoes that flow nicely with the tie and suit

Also jumping on the brown shoes bandwagon is Joachim, too light brown but it works

Notice how both these men's shoes are clean and don't look like you can smell them a mile away :whistling:;)

but not all dress so nicely like Frederik, here is Edward in Paris with an ugly tie that clashes horribly with that suit

Crown Prince Frederik looks better clean-shaven IMO.

Agree. Either you grow an impressive beard or you don't.

That's very neat tie, Frederik's wearing.
Why should ties be boring?

And now to Prince Edward.
What a treat!
Double-breasted.
Shirtsleeves showing.
Neat and well-folded handkerchief.
Funny tie.
Not just a boring plain shirt, but with a discreet pattern.
A lapel pin.

He ain't son and grandson of Prince Charles and the Duke of Edinburgh for nothing! ?

Sorry Muhler:flowers:but Edward is Charles' brother and the Duke's son.?

I am so glad this thread has become invigorated by the current crop of middle aged royal men.

When they are young they either don't give a damn about fashion unless they're dressing like gigalos thinking they look like a 007 knock-off (huge fail)!

Then comes THE ONE and thoughts of marriage and, in the immortal words of Harry when he first saw his Lady, they have to up their game. and out go all the really shiney suits, etc.

Frederik arriving to the opening of Parliment with his million dollar smile and a nice suit and tie combo

a job well done by the Danish men today :flowers:

From yesterday's elegant Danes we head over to the U.K with Harry leaving his usual blue suit at home and showing up to his dukedom in all grey

sorry this "look" does not work

Yea, I did think Harry could've worn a different colored shoes. Although his suits have been much better fitted in the last year or so.

Harry will never in a million years be a style icon. However, he looked quite nice in grey. It would be too much to expect him to wear fashionable shoes with it.

I wonder why Daniel has gone for the turtle neck look all of a sudden. A sore neck, winter coming on, shirt collars too tight? It's a mystery!

Harry’s gray suit is nice.

Turtleneck and brown shoes... What a depressing day.

When I become world-dictator turtlenecks will be banned and burned! :napoleon:

It does work. It's fresh and on trend.
Daniel seems to find it fitting to wear at "young" events. He's down with the kids yo...

LOL, I doubt any young ones are rocking this look
He reminds me of a pop group member from the late 90s.. but hey different taste for different folks :flowers:

:previous: Indeed! You have to give Daniel an A+ for his attempt to "get down" with younger people in less formal engagements. Personally, I am not a turtleneck fan and totally agree with Muhler's future plans.:banned:

However, those white tennis/deck shoes with what looks like a very elegant suit . . . fingernails on a chalkboard!

Now to Harry's taupe suede shoes. I like them better than his bright blue ones. ?

Edit: Love Harry's grey suit.

I agree.
I really like turtlenecks on men.
Just give Daniel some dark coloured sneackers and he's perfectly dressed for the occasion.

Not convinced the tailoring on Harry''s light grey suits is up to standard.

Anything is better than any one of his his half dozen identical blue suits. Then again, it's hard to tell how tailored his suits are when he bounces around so much that he'd give coffee the jitters.

I don't mind turtlenecks (I kinda like turtlenecks on men too). I don't mind sneakers. But Daniel why did you wear these at the same time? Agree with MARG, a pair of casual and "youthful" sneakers with a elegant turtleneck? why?????

Harry indeed looks nice in grey.

:previous: You're not alone! Prince Charles joked about his fashion when he was receiving his GQ awards saying he was always in fashion . . . every other decade! ?

Edward in Estonia wearing a checkered print shirt, pinstripe suit and polka-dot tie...I got a little bit dizzy seeing his pictures :whistling: too much pattern
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Do-TZPWXgAIqBRp.jpg

Be thankful that it's a relatively plain tie. Edward seems to have a liking to kooky ties, which I love to be fair. It's a way that men can jazz up a suit when it's all they ever seem to wear.
