I love the dress...

Rania wore for the reception (not the engagement ceremony). Considering how much better she looks in Jordanian traditional dress I wonder why she even thinks about wearing western dresses. For engagements & weddings held in Jordan, she should definitely stick to Jordanian-inspired outfits - after all, she is the Queen. It's sort of embarressing to see those photos wear all the princesses and even Q. Noor are wearing thobes and Rania's in a western dress (Hamzah & Noor's engagement, for example).

Thanks, is vey fast the engagement a very few days ago and they just married!!

so this is the wedding and not the engagement? I mean the first sets of pictures. I guess they were the nikah pics
I think I recall seeing a picture of the engagement a couple of months ago.
The bride is very pretty..is she Princess Basma's daughter?

I agree, Rania's dress is gorgeous
I wonder why she doesnt wear reds and bright colours more often

that what i was thinking about when starting the thread, it should be the wedding , the engagement was months ago, but why petra said it is engagement? it should be a mistake.

and yes she is p. Basma's daughter.

well petra makes mistakes all the time which makes it confusing.
They posted pictures of Badiya's engagement months ago

I haven't heard anything about Alia being pregnant.
It could just be the jacket she's wearing

It seems to be engagement/wedding season in Jordan. First we had Crown Prince Hamzah's wedding, then Princess Haya, then Prince Ali, then the engagement of Princess Badiya and subsequent engagement and wedding of Farah Daghistani.
Wow, that's 5 engagement/wedding this year. Next year we shall probably have the weddings of Prince Hashem, Princess Iman and other marriageable members of the royal family
P.S. I absolutely adore the dress worn by Queen Rania at the wedding of Farah Dagistani. She looks exceptionally beautiful in that red dress which I heard other members say was Jordanian.

I was looking at the bride's pictures more closely and I wish there was a better picture of the tiara she seems to be wearing. It looks very pretty.
Its interesting that both Princess Noor and Rym didnt wear tiaras at their wedding.

Me too! I guess Princess Alia has been out of the spot lights since getting back from Athens, may be that's the reason!!!

I did'nt see CP Hamzah nor his wife! I wonder why? Even if they've got studies, surely their cousin's wedding is more important (personal opinion)!

What did you guys think?

I absoultely love the bride's dress, i think its the most elegant wedding dress a jordanian royal lady ahas worn, some people might say that Princess Noor Hamzah's dress was that too! But i do think the Farah dress is fablous!

I also liked what Rania was wearing, but i didn't really like the whole dress just the colour! It has too much patterns in it, its too busy i think!

(Personal opinion!)

is the scary looking lady with the bad face lift the groom's mother?

CP hamzah and Noor are back in college with studies... I think at least Ali and Rym should have been there

1. Who is Farah? 2. Which one is Alia? 3. Why is Muna next to them in teh photos?

Farah is KA 's cousin, Alia is the first from the right (next to her husband princ faisal), muna is the king's mother its only natural to see her there!

Queen Noor seems to be conspicuously absent at this wedding. I didn't see her at Ali and Rym's wedding either, which was odd because Queen Noor was a second mother to him. And she has said that she and Princess Basma are very close.

I agree with you! But somehow i can't help feeling that their relationship changed after the death of KH! I guess Queen Noor isn't as close to the royal family as she was before! That might be hard to do, considering that she's in the states more than jordan!

But princess Iman is there. Or is that princess Raiyah?
