There is a new Spanish series out about Queen Victoria Eugenia by RTVE, but it doesn't give a premiere date.
Nice, I hope to be able to see it on RTVE Internacional. I am assuming it will be also available outside Spain, won't it?

I don’t even know whether they are planning to release a subtitled version for a wider audience. The article doesn’t give much concrete information.

That does look interesting. I hope they release a subtitled version. My Spanish is fine for things like ordering drinks and asking directions, but not for watching a whole TV series!

The -subtitled ;)- trailer says that it is based on a book of Pilar Eyre.

It has premiered in Cannes already. Maybe Spanish posters can tell us if it has been on television already?

Looks interesting, but they might have fallen down with regards to accurate Edwardian fashions. These look like more modern takes on the style.

The actress who plays Ena is from the Canary Islands, and has appeared in both English and Spanish productions. It will be interesting to see how convincing she is in the accent part of the role - if she can sound like an Englishwoman who learned Spanish as an adult, rather than a native speaker.

But I will add this to my list of things to watch out for. I've always had a lot of sympathy for Ena - it will be interesting to see how this production portrays her.
