Eloise, Claus-Casimir and Leonore, News and Pictures 2: 2023 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Countess Eloise has become a victim of burglars last night- what a personal nightmare...

Yesterday we got broken into in Amsterdam... it was clearly aimed at the jewelry because almost all of it is gone. Rings, necklaces and watches - the jewelry I got from my family over the years is what I really love the most... of course it ends materially but it's also sentimental. & the feeling that a stranger came to your home and went through our stuff is crazy too. Also, I'm also really upset that I couldn't be in The Hague for the opening of the second @mylimalimaco store... It felt so crazy to be in Ams this morning with the doors open. but yeah it's not different for a while, what I'm most happy about is that we weren't home last night so we're safe 🥹

Despite the shock she was fortunately able to pose for a picture for her social media ;).

But indeed scary as it seemed targeted.

Sounds targeted indeed. Must be uncomfortable knowing that you might be targeted again.

But doesn't Countess Eloise still live at home with her parents? Don't they have security guards at home?

No, her parents live in The Hague, she lives and studies in Amsterdam.

It does seem that the burglars knew that Eloise is living there and that she would own more valuable jewellery than the average student...

I doubt Constantijn and Laurentien have security guards at their home but indeed, that is irrelevant in this case, as it happened in Amsterdam.

Eloise shared her new years resolutions. Among them: visiting her grandfather and grandmothers at least once a month, writing her thesis, learning how to invest and reading at least 6 books [per year apparently]

She encourages everyone to write SMART goals but hers aren't all formulated SMART... and it gives in interesting view into what she is not yet doing...

Her categories are (with an example of her goals):
Personal Development (including making time for hobbies such as interior design, visiting museums and painting)
Relationships (including spending more time with friends and planning nice dates)
Finance (including learning how to invest and plan financially)
Career and Company (including socials: going to LFW and CFW --> anybody any clue what this is about?)
Attitude and Mindset (including morning routine: making her bed, skin care, sport and drinking water)
Health (including cooking a dish with prio proteins or greens each day)

LFW is usually the abbreviation for London Fashion Week. There's a Charleston Fashion Week, too, but I think that's pretty small compared to the European shows.

That makes sense as a possible abbreviation. CFW means Copenhagen maybe?

In the mean time her brother posted a photo on Instagram stories of a young woman next to a painting of the Wallace collection in London. Her name is Joan Bessem. Interestingly a few years ago the same girl appeared on a [leaked] photo with Pss Alexia & friends at a party at the Atlantic College in Wales. Like Eloise, Joan is studying Hospitalit managment at a hotel school [of The Hague] and according to her linkedin she is now working as commis sommelier at The Goring in London.

Well, if both of them put pictures of the visit on their Instagram, it seems they are happy for the outside world to be aware of their friendship/relationship.

Looks like she is from the Netherlands, probably became friends with Alexia at UWC and via Alexia met Alexia's cousin?

Her LinkedIn-profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/joan-bessem-15189b210/

It looks like Claus-Casimir is currently studying at the London campus (which is probably why Joan Bessem opted for an internship in London as well). The article states that he is studying in Turin but that was his second year, he is now in his third year and his LinkedIn page shows 'London' as location and ESPC has campuses in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris and Turin and you are supposed to study in a different city each year, so in his case it looks like he opted for: 1) Paris, 2) Turin, 3) London.

See his Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/claus-casimir-van-oranje-nassau-b3032922b

He also recently (last November) started another company called Stealth.

So, by now he founded or co-founded the following companies:
- Grails Plug (founded in June 2020 - during high school while still in het Netherlands)
- Stoun Socks (co-founded in October 2020 while at Gordonstoun - hence the name)
- AIcourses (co-founded in January 2023)
- EcoClick Media (co-founded in October 2023)
- Stealth (co-founded in November 2024)

So far his interests seem to focus on sustainability (Stoun Socks and EcoClick Media) and AI (AIcourses and Stealth). Although, he might jump on other opportunities that he sees to start another business.

Claus-Casimir posted his grades at Gordonstoun (on LinkedIn years ago) as he was quite proud of his 3 A's - and I am trying to understand the concept of 'Unit Mark', can someone in the UK/Scotland explain how this works?

He got 3 A's based on the following unit marks: 195/300, 163/240 and 299/400. Would the first number be the number of points he received and the second number the total number of points possible? And would his letter grade depend on the scores of his fellow students (so, is the grade relative to other students' scores or are the grades defined before anyone takes the test based on the minimum score you need for each grade)?
