Duke Carlos Javier and the Royal House of Bourbon-Parma 2: Dec. 2022 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
One of the main topic of discussions is the gathering and archiving of documentation about the Carlist tradition at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. A Spanish researcher, Alfonso Bullón de Mendoza (from CEU) is in charge of cataloguing all the documents.

In addition, he tries to convince the readers that both he and Anne Marie are very much involved with Spain and the Spanish people (more correctly/specifically: the Carlists in Spain).

As we already noticed previously, the fractured relationships within the family seem to be healing. He is purposefully inviting his Borbon-cousins to dynastic events in Italy and he also reveals that he visited his uncle Sixto together with his brother Jaime in the care home in France where he is now living. According to Carlos, this process has already been taking place over several years: his uncle and aunts would visit one another in Paris at his aunt Cecilia's house in the past.

I believe Ricardo Mateos Sáinz de Medrano is the author of several royalty books in Spanish?

The interview is nice enough. Thanks for going through it, Somebody, and providing the highlights.

The family seems to be healing indeed, which is good to see. I remember Pss Margarita describing her Bourbon family as chronically feuding. I did not know (or forgot?) that Jaime and Carlos visited prince Sixtus. I wonder if they were able to give Pss Irene's regards ;).

He also gave an interview to Point de Vue:

The reason for the interview is the same: the collection and digitalization of Carlist documents in Nijmegen.

About Amalia he says:
She is preparing very well for her role and has spectacular human qualities.

He also says he likes to facilitate and ensure meetings of the Bourbon-Parma family.

(...) honestly, I believe that we have made good progress. And, to get to know each other better and prepare for the future, where can we meet if not in Parma!"

The article mentions 3 children, forgetting the eldest son with Brigitte Klynstra.

Of course it does. He himself seems to not want him mentioned. I mean, he went to court to try to prevent his son from using the family name,

More photos of the annual events of the House of Bourbon-Parma from June 6 - 7 have been shared today:

Annemarie was lovely and charming as always!

Princess Viktoria of Bourbon-Parma gave an interview to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, mostly to promote the charity 'Save the Children' of which she is a patron.

Prinses Viktória ontmoette prins Jaime in de trein: ‘Schrok me rot toen ik hem googelde’

She talks about her childhood and her family history. Her stepfather told her not to get married before her 30th birthday. A day after her birthday she was in the train to Paris, where she met Prince Jaime, who went to Paris to visit an aunt. They exchanged email adresses after chatting for 3 hours. In Paris and on the same day they met again by accident and in the metro. She said that after she googled him she was shocked: what would it mean, did she want all that etc.

The King and Queen always take the initiative to organize the family get-togethers , not perse only on festive days. As does her mother-in-law Princess Irene. The King and Queen were one of the first ones to visited them at home when they moved to The Netherlands.
