the wake and funeral of Dom Antonio HI & RH Prince Antonio of Orleans-Braganca: Wake and Funeral
If you look through the family tree published for the princess, you'll find that her mother Alice Ankarcrona was from quite noble ancestry though the Ankarcrona never held a title. Hm.Princess Renata von Altenburg born in Zywiec, Poland on 13 April 1931 died in Madrid, Spain on 18 June.
The princess was the daughter of Archduke Karl Albrecht of Austria and his Swedish born wife Alice Ankarcrona who had previously been married to the Polish Count Badeni. Given that the marriage was morganatic Alice and her children were awarded the title Prince/ss of Altenburg by Archduke Otto in 1949.
Ankarcrona is a swedish noble family, though they belong to the lesser nobility and does not hold a title (like Count, Baron or something like that)If you look through the family tree published for the princess, you'll find that her mother Alice Ankarcrona was from quite noble ancestry though the Ankarcrona never held a title. Hm.
So soon after the death of her cousin!Sad times for the House of Waldeck-Pyrmont
Marie-Louise passed away on December 12, and then four days later it was her first cousin's turn!So soon after the death of her cousin!
This doesn't make sense. Emmanuel turned 6 in 1938, and according to what is written here, Éliane would have died in 1928 (if she was born in 1924 and died at the age of 4). Was she born in 1934? Then she would have been 4 in 1938, which would match when Emmanuel was 6.Count Emmanuel [of the dukes] d'Ursel died on 2 May last year.
He was born in Brussels on 11 June 1932 as fourth and youngest son and fourth of seven children of Count Bernard d'Ursel (1904-1965) & his wife, Princess Thérèse de Ligne (1905-2000).
He had two older living brothers: Guy (1928-2012) & Hervé (1930-2003); the second one, Alain died in 1929 as a nearly three-month-old baby (so Emmanurl never knew him).
A month before his 6th birthday, his first sister Éliane (b.1924) died aged only 4; later tho youngest sister followed Viviane (b.1940-2019) & Anita (b.1942).
Count Emmanuel married in Uccle civilly on 27 April and religiously on 5 May Jonkvrouw Marie-Chantal de Meester de Heyndonck (1938-2017) [daughter of Jonkheer Paul de Meester de Heyndonck (1908-1997) & his wife, Jonkvrouw Christiane [of the barons] de Beco (1912-1999)].
Count Emmanuel is survived by his six daughters: Prisca (b.1960), Sylviane (b.1962), Béatrice (b.1965), Anita (b.1967), Laurence (b.1969) & Stéphanie (b.1971) as well as fourteen grandchildren.

Geneall lists Eliane being born in 1934, not 1924 - probably a fat finger moment by the OPThis doesn't make sense.
