I don' understand the not reigning Crown Princess to gether with 2 Monarchs and a former King.
Another link to the watch the funeral of King Michael, which has begun:
Prince Charles and fellow European royals joined tens of thousands of Romanians to pay their respects to the country's late King Michael I as a state funeral got underway on Saturday.

Wasn't there a poster who said during the Swizz incident a few weeks ago that grandson and nephew is the same word in Romanian? The captions on these photos are absolutely horrible! They refer to Margareta as “of Hohenzollern”, Nicholas as Michael’s nephew, Henri of Luxembourg as “King Henry”... who wrote these?

How interesting to watch the interactions among the visiting Royals as they stand around chatting at 4:30:00! I hope there will be some discussion on the 'bowing and curtsying' forum about who bowed to whom during the line up procession!
Yes, the Romanian word "nepot" translates into English as either "grandson" or "nephew."

Now it's up to the King's Family to show unity and to continue the projects of the King.
More republics are pretty generous when it comes to that. Remember the funerals of Empress Zita, Archuchess Regina and Archduke Otto in Austria, the various reburials of members of the tsarist family in Russia, or funerals in former German principalities where almost always the "successor" to these principalities (the Bundesländer) are officially represented, etc.
No republic organized something so official as Romania did for its King.
In 1921 Bavaria also hosted an official Funeral for both King Ludwig III. and his wife who had died 2 years earlier. No republic organized something so official as Romania did for its King.

And the fuenral of Empress Zita in 1989 ws also quiet big with a procession through Vienna and it was broadcasted on austrian TV at the time.
The three (former) Sovereigns attending with one who sees herself as a Soverereign. From Margareta's perspective I can see some logic in that.
Two sovereigns ,A former sovereign and a titular sovereign.
king Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and The Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg are still sovereigns.
It was nice to see so many royals present at the funeral today. A very moving occasion.
I have seen that the prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy and prince Leka of Albania have attended the funeral. Also the princess of Liechteinstein, magrave of Baden, prince Alexander of Serbia and duke of Braganca if I'm not wrong.
No representation though from the Danish, Dutch and Norwegian courts. I wonder why. Maybe they were worried about antagonizing the Romanian government, but since it was a semi-state funeral anyway, that concern wouldn't make sense, would it ?
