I thought that the Floral Aigrette is Margrethe's personal property, it was gifted to her by her mother.
It's part of the family property trust that transfers from one monarch to another, but Ingrid did keep it until 1985. I do wonder whether Ingrid put it in the property trust in 1985, or whether Frederik IX arranged for Ingrid to hold on to it for as long as she wanted.
I think she might need a vehicle with higher seats because they tend to be easier for older people to step in and out of.A very serious Christian at his first New Year Court needing a little guided hand on where to go when inside.
Couldn't they get a bigger car for QMII? She could hardly get out, the poor thing. Perhaps one of the larger cars was down, they have a reputation for being untimely unreliable.
She didn't look that well to me though. It's not like her to pace past the photographers. Half the country is down with flu, a cold or Corona at this time of year.
I'm sure the Regent Couple continue the old tradition of curtsying/bowing to their guests in respect of the democracy.
