Danish Jewels: Suggested Additions and Alterations

The main Branch was not interested in the two family sapphire tiaras.
We don't quite know if those two sapphire tiaras were offered to the family privately first. I can't see the main line family bid for them in an auction.
 
Interesting, I had not appreciated that.
I've been searching for the interview where I read that but am coming up empty handed. Will post it once I find it.
 
Now Queen Mary has converted a necklace of the Crown Jewels into a bandeau tiara, there may be some other options still around=

For example the diamond choker of this set could be mounted on a frame and would make a possible tiara, with some changes to make the base go in a straight line:

If I am not mistaken, the "choker" was originally a bracelet. It is entirely possible that Mary may put it on a tiara frame.
 
If you all are referring to the tiara that Queen Mary debuted at the state visit to Denmark from the President of Egypt, the tiara was made from a belt.


ETA:
The rose stone set was created in 1840 as a chain that is mounted around a corseted waist with the large pendant, the corsage, in the middle.
The rose cut diamonds were worn by Queen Lovisa of Denmark in their original form as a belt in 1911[...]
